The Lay Of Leithian and the story of Celeborn and Galadriel. And the story of Denethor and Finduilas. With me as Finduilas, naturally.

I would like the Beginning. Just to see how the Ainur and the Music and Iluvatar would be pictured.

Following the story of the Silmaril that was recovered....from the crafting of the Silmarils, to Beren and Lúthien, to the Nauglamir, and finally Eärendil's Star.

What about the story of Amroth and Nimrodel? I can imagine that being quite cool on the big screen.

I don't know about others, but I would like to see a story in Middle Earth but reasonable removed from LotR or The Silmarilion. I've always been partial to the story of Eldacar and the Kin-strife.
Personally, I find most of the stories in The Silmarilion far too dark and gloomy to really be a successful movie.
H.C.

1420!

I think if they expanded the prolouge to fotr would be cool. The last alliance of men and elves, Isuldur, and everyone. It sounds lovely.

I think the concept of this film is an interesting one, supposedly being the story of Aragorn's early life. There's a lot there that could make a good movie.
Apparently though, they were unable to secure the rights from New Line and so had to change it around enough to make the lawyers happy. Whether what's left will actually be a good film or not is anyone's guess.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
H.C.
