Ered Lithui, the Ash Mountains, and Ephel Duath, the Mountains of Shadow. Is Ered/Ephel in Sindarin?

Those were cerainly the answers I was looking for. I'm pretty confident about Ered. I guess I just assumed Ephel.

Yes! Though most of Beleriand was laid waste in the War of Wrath, some large mountains like Himring remained as small islands. Ask!

The palantir of Minas Ithil was taken by Sauron when the Ringwraiths captured Minas Ithil, c. 2002. After Sauron's fall, I don't know what happened to it.

The Ithil-Stone was destroyed when the massive force of the toppling tower of Barad-Dur crashed upon it.
