Well, since "Eldarin" is an umbrella term for "Elvish languages," here's both Sindarin and Quenya.

Sindarin:
Female: ending of -riel
Man (I don't know male): adan

Quenya:
Female: inya
Male: hanu, hanwa, hanuvoite

All right, all right, nice master will give the answer: 600,000. I don't know if this is how long it is, but Tolkien states that number in several of his letters to Allen & Unwin.

RotK =135,397 words
Total = 478,108 words

That includes table of contents, but not the Appendix. I got bored after the end of RotK, so if someone wants to count the words in the Appendices go right ahead.

I recently wrote a story that is 176,389 words long. I was proud of that, but I guess I'll have to work harder to come close to Tolkien!
