Though it is important that we know about all errors, not all of them are as critical as others. Private Messages are a fun feature on the forum, but the forum continues to work with or without them, so PM errors (unless they affect everyone) often go to the bottom of the stack of things to do. They have now come to the top of the stack and have been corrected (hopefully).

I noticed another problem today, it's definately not crucial, but still rather odd. When I go to my profile and click "View Recent Posts", most of the threads that I'm listed as posting on recently are from at least last summer, if not older! And those certainly are not my most recent posts...

On occasion we have to reset the database form PM's to correct odd errors that occur. when we do this, it rearranges them alphabetically instead of chronologically. Unfortunately, this messes up your list, but each new post you make from now on will be in the correct order. Eventually we'll have to reset it again, so be aware that this will happen now and then.

I seemed to have picked up a cookie that I didn't want. Every time I click anything in the "Movies" forum, I get a pop-up to sign into "WaroftheRing.net". It doesn't happen in the rest of the Forum, though. I've just been cancelling out of it.

The exact same thing happened to me this evening, and I believe I posted immediately after you did on the Oscar buzz thread. It is repeatedly popping up when I read or post in the movies forum. The pop-up says "Network password" Please type your user name and password. I had the same problem as Morgul Queen and Elrond of Rivendell a few hours ago when trying to access the Barrowdowns main page:
