Finarfin stayed in Valinor when his half-brother Fëanor led the host of Noldor back to Middle-Earth, and became King for those Noldor who remained also with Finarfin.

Arwen stayed in Middle Earth instead of taking the ships to Valinor, and became Queen of the Reunited Kingdom.
