Re: Wolves

Thanks for the kind advice, lindil , but closed-mindedness was not the culprit here.

Though I don't suppose you'll believe it, I started this entire arguement with no convictions and decided on my line of discussion because it countered what others were saying and I did not thoroughly understand the issue and hoped to get it explained in better detail. By sticking to my argument when it was no longer tenable, I got more detail than I hoped for, including the revelation (for me at least, as explained above) of necromancy. Now we all understand the topic better.

Arch-sneakiness

" closed-mindedness was not the culprit here."

I was afraidthat might be construed in an insulting fashion .
However - - -your Arch-sneakiness , answers my unspoken query while watching this thread,
of " Why isn't he getting this ,these arguments and quotes seem pretty convincing?"
what a clever wight you are!

l.

Maybe a more laconic writer than I candistill the essence of this into an Encyclopedia entry?

oooooooooooo.......

he said falling into a pit of despair about being responsible for anything else.

Actually at some future date [say after there is a new Silmarillion Canon!] I would love to put in my dues in this regard.

the most I can offer now is a suggestion that you link Entries in the encyc. to the relevant threads in the archives [once they are locked -I assume] that way people who have never even thought of using thw search key or those #'s running across the page of the discussion forums , will see just how wise and all encompassing these discussions can be, well at least they wil see whatever they see.

There that is my entry till the canon [although maybe I could be talked into the green elves -I didn't say that , where is the delete key....I am falling again
NOOOOOO0000000ooooooo..................]

Lindil is often found on posting on the New Silmarillion Canon Forum at the Barrowdowns discussion board. 'The dwindling Men of the West would often sit up late into the night, and awaken early before dawn- exchanging lore and wisdom such as they possessed , so that they should not fall back into the mean and low estate of those , who never knew or more sadly still, had indeed rebelled against the Light.'
Edited by: lindil at: 1/17/01 6:49:46 pm

Re: cyclo

I'd like to thank my agents, my manager, the Barrow Wight for providing the medium, my personal trainer, my tattoo artist Dirty Dan, and my hairstylist, Rico, for always believing in me. I'd also like to thank the fans. It's always gratifying to know that the people enjoy what I'm putting out there, cause you're the ones I do it for, baby! And of course, Dr. Suess. I couldn'ta done it without you, Doc! Peace out!

[How you know it's award season in L.A.]
