Naturally, Sapphire_Flame. Bill Watterson as a genius! ("Meddle not with tired tigers." Wisdom from Calvin. Don't forget it.)

Diamond, I love matchbox twenty, and "Unwell" is one of my favorite songs. Rock on! ^_^

The site's down at the moment, but they'll be working soon. We've been recruited by various people (Helka) and need people to click the links to give us more army people. So please click the links.

I loved Sophia's

I like this one, it's MLD-Grounds-Kepper-Willie's. It reminds me of the duet I had with this other girl at our chorus concert. I held up the mic, and right before the song starts, she says 'I'm terrifed' right into the mic. I tried to tell her that I think the audience heard her, but I think my voice echoed louder than hers.

Quote:
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell.
Even if Rob's voice sounds different than it used to, I love the lyrics to 'Unwell'.

Thanks for both nominations, GOTO. The first quote was from the movie Bruce Almighty, which surprisingly enough, I thoroughly enjoyed. The second was written by our very own resident phantom. He's kind enough to let me use it.

Diamond, your link got me too.

I'm glad you like my sig, GaladrieloftheOlden. I would've thanked you earlier, but I've been on vacation (and now it's back to work ).
Quote:

That sig, though funny, has been a thorn in my side. Perhaps it's because of the applicability. I fear that if "every good man" was replaced with "me", "a woman" was replaced by "every girl, and most guys I know", and "her" was replaced by "their", the statement would be even more true.

Also, I'm sure you'll find this difficult to believe, but I also like your new sig, Sophia.

That's only beyond cool. And Sophia's new one is great too:

Aah! I've been gone for the weekend, and there are all these new sigs.

Thank you, Oddwen, for ridding us of that horrible Boromir the Disco Squid. (Does he taste good?)

I was wondering when you'd put that in your sig, Sophia. You said you would about a page and a half ago. (Naturally, you'd like it, phantom )

I like your newest Matrix-esque sig, GOTO. "Wake up, Alice. The Downs has you." Sadly, that is all too true. Zel Ladrona says I've been eaten by the Internet. I must refrain from mentioning this to her.

Okay, I think I've rambled enough for one night (at least on this thread). I'm off to add my strangeness to another.

1420!

Well thank you Arafangwen and Aylwen Dreamsong. I'm thinking of changing it but I have yet to decide. I do like another sig I used to have. It was:

Quote:
Who says I need a signature?
I found one that I really like by Elfchick7:

Quote:
"Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet ours, and today is a gift from God, thats why we call it the present!"
I like The Saucepan Man's. It goes well with his avatar and nickname. I think it might be from that book The Indian in the Cupboard or something like it. I don't know why I think that, I just do. Anyways, here it is:

Quote:
And inside they saw the strangest little man, dancing the strangest little dance! He had saucepans and kettles hung all over him, he wore a saucepan for a hat, and he crashed two saucepans together as he danced!
I also like Elanor's:

Quote:
"When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading."
Henny Youngman (1906 - )
Nurumaiel's is good:

Quote:
Daybreak is a never-ending glory. Getting out of bed is a never-ending nuisance. -G.K. Chesterton
Quote:

How true! I think HCIsland would agree! Here's one just for the sake of Calvin and Hobbes:

It's from the Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton. I don't know how big she is in the USA- she's very English! (Very English a few decades ago )

If you're refering to "I will not strike a bargain with a demonic being...", then I will gladly tell you where I got it! Not from a TV show actually; if's from a site I found on the 'Net: Top 100 Things I'd Do If I Ever Became An Evil Overlord.

Lucewen, I actually heard that on one of my favourite 'Britcoms,' 'As Time Goes By.' It immediately caught my attention, I wrote it down, and here it is now. I fully believe in the 'carpe diem' philosophy in life, so I figured this quote would be a creative way of stating that. It really wouldn't surprise me if it was from a book, but I don't know for sure. If anyone can clue me in on this, I'd be quite grateful!

Sting

Worlds Apart by Bruce Springsteen.

I hold you in my arms, that's when it starts
I seek faith in your kiss, and comfort in your heart
I taste the seed upon your lips, lay my tongue upon your scars
But when I look into your eyes, we stand worlds apart

Where the distant oceans sing, and rise to the plain
In this dry and troubled country, your beauty remains
Down from the mountain roads where the highway rolls to dark
'Neath Allah's blessed rain, we remain worlds apart

Sometimes the truth just ain't enough
Or it's too much in times like this
Let's throw the truth away, we'll find it in this kiss
In your skin upon my skin, in the beating of our hearts
May the living let us in, before the dead tear us apart

We'll let blood build a bridge, over mountains draped in stars
I'll meet you on the ridge, between these worlds apart
We've got this moment now to live, then it's all just dust and dark
Let love give what it gives
Let's let love give what it gives

Sapphire, if you're still wondering, Wheel of Time is by Robert Jordan. It starts with The Eye of the World.

Rimbaud:

I like it, but...shouldn't it be "Je suis un autre?"

Farmer Giles of Ham. I like that one.

Have you not payed attention to me when talking or reading my work? Of course it has a hidden message. It is a dutch saying that means that you should not do little things when you can work in the tomato business. I thought you knew that by now.

I would like to bring this one to the light:

Too many people miss the silver lining, because they are expecting gold~ Maikadilwen.

She said I forgot her. Just in case
