You are too kind, Gwaihir.

On the same theme, what was used as the Royal crown of Arnor, and what was its history?

Look into the http://www.fortunecity.co.uk/library/classiccourt/77/Mirror of Desire.

The Elendilmir was a plain fillet of silver with a single diamond set over the brow. This had also been the crown in Numenor.

Again, let's stay with regalia. The Kings of Arnor wore that girly diadem; what was their more "manly" attribute of authority? And who would have had it c.1977(t.a.)?

Would Arvedui Last-King have held the Sceptre? If I remember correctly, it was made of gold and silver. Jeweled, of course, but not overdone.

I was, indeed, looking for the Sceptre of Annuminas. But by 1977(t.a.), Arvedui was fish-bait at the bottom of the ice bay of Forochel. Who then held the Sceptre?

Eol cast a spear at Maeglin, but Aredhel leapt in front of him and it pierced her shoulder. The point was poisoned and she died that night.

Hasufel had carried Garulf. I think that you're asking for Garulf's fate. He was slain in battle between Eomer's eored and the orcs of Isengard. If you meant Hasufel's fate, I don't know it after Aragorn remounted his own Roheryn.

Literally translated, what doe the word 'Hithgleir' mean? If I've got the spelling right.

I think that you mean Hithaeglir, i.e. the Misty Mountains. I take it to mean just that, mountains of mist.
