As Eddy said. But it's not ancient! It's from '81! Only seven years older than me!

And plus, he's described in the book as having gingerish hair, so the Mr. David Dixon version in my avvie is closer to it.... but that's alright. Mos Def is cool. I trust him.

Bywaters' avatar is indeed glorious. Hurrah for Rowan Atkinson. He's a great actor and is named after a tree. I know I can't hold a candle to that.

EDIT: And I really like Durelin's -- it reminds me of Dream from the Sandman.

Okay, how often do people change avitars? I realize that this depends on the person but I get so confused when I become accustomed to one and then it's chaned. Ah the bane of the feeble minded.

Because it's just so witty and yet another facet for us to confuse each other into what we possibly, and possibly not be at that specific time and place. Also, because it's just so additively enjoyable!

Good one. Our avatars reflect our lil' whims of the moment. In no case should they be misinterpretated as our very soul/essence and we should not interract with other net denizens based solely on the appeal of the little pictures that accompany their post. IMHO this should be a rule in the book of netiquette.

That said, I am profoundly embarressed and strickened with guilt to confess that in my mind, forever until the day I forget about it - dear Mormegil will always be a black hairy monkey with a gun.
