What was the fate of each of the three Simarili that Feanor made? If you've read the Simarilion, this one's easy.
If I'm not here toanswer the reply, I've logged off.

Earendil bears one aboard Vingilot.
Maglor cast one into the deeps of the sea.
Maedhros threw himself and a Silmaril into a fiery chasm.

Just as Mandos foretold, the fates of earth, sea and air were bound up with them.

Elurin and Elured were the brothers of ELrond's mother Elwing. The were Elrond's uncles on his mother's side.

Morgorth crushed Fingolfin's throat with his left foot. Even as he died, he slashed it with his sword, Ringil.

The Ciril joins the Ringlo about one hundred miles due North of Dol Amroth. They join to produce the river Bdhellond.
Give us another one, Galpsi.

Your geography sounds right, though I've always known it as the Morthond. And typically around here the person who answers correctly asks next.

The old wilderness of the Drū-people, where the Drśedain have lived for ages. It is located between the rivers Isen and Lefnui, west and north of the White Mountains. South of it is the cape of Andras.

Someone please correct me if I“m wrong, otherwise I“ll post a question here later today.

The Ered Luin (Blue mountains) was once a single mountain range, not split by the Gulf of Lhun. Why isn't it any more?

If anyone answers, just ask another question. I'm taking a break.

Erm, if I answered the Wind-Lord“s question correctly, could I ask two questions at once? Even if so, I won“t.

I assume the Ered Luin were &quot;damaged&quot; in the War of Wrath ant the following changes - the perishing of Beleriand, and so on. Maybe the tail of Ancalagon the Black crushed down there and created the Gulf of Lhūn <img src=smile.gif ALT="">

And those that remained went to Lindon, I think.

Yes, both right. But the question was 'Where did most of the elves remove to'. More did sail to Tol Eressea or Valinor than to Lindon, so Galpsi, your turn.

Kittle defines me as a &quot;Shade of Carn Dūm.&quot; What and where was Carn Dūm? Who was its most famous resident?

I believe it to be the stronghold of the realm of Angmar, and the Witch-King, who is, of course, the Lord of the Nazgūl, was the head of it.
And Carn Dūm is northeast of Eriador, west of the northern top of the Misty Mountains, right?
