Tolkien No Language Forum?

I hope this is the right place to ask this, but why isn't there a language forum?
Is there just not enough people interested?

Hi, Starod! A language sub-forum would be a wonderful feature on the Downs, and I'm sure there would be enough people interested, but unfortunately, it would also require at least one expert on Tolkien's languages to run it. So far, we don't have any; there have been some attempts by members at learning Elvish together from other sources, but none of the admins and/or mods here knows enough to be able to answer questions on the topic. It's better to direct questions to other competent websites than to give people false information here.

If an expert shows up in the future, we'd certainly be interested in the possibility!

Tolkien

Oh, well if you're not opposed to a newbie managment, I'd love to answer any questions about Sindarin, Quenya, Noldorin, Valarin, Telerin, Khuzdul (dwarvish) and Black Speech, and other obscure Tolkien languages. Although I admit the only one I'm profitient at is Sindarin.

Its a great idea, but as far as general layout, little has changed on the Downs in 10 years. That said, ita always been a solid working place, and stability is a good thing!
