I rather like Groin's location too. Lovely reminder of what we're all doing on the Barrow-Downs in the first place! Back to the books, I love it!

The Thrall's Tale by Judith Lindbergh. It isn't one of my favorites, but it's alright. The book held my attention despite being a historical novel when I normally prefer fantasy/sci-fi, so I'll give it some credit.

I have never read that book, but I have spend many hours in bookshops wondering if I should purchase it or not.

I found it for a dollar or two at the local library's twice annual discount sale. I think it may have been worth that, if not a bit more.

I don't rightly know what the significance of Mt. Gundabad is, but I was admiring my newly framed and hung map of Wilderland and I saw this mountain that is located just about where the Misty Mountain and the Grey Mountains meet. I thought that it sounded funny and would make a jolly good location.

I have to say that that I'd rather hang out with hobbits than dwarves, but dwarves are cool too.
