Arwen was named Undomiel for her people. If Elrond is acceptable as a younger king. (After all, you can be raised by your biological father as well).

However, still with the assumption that the "speakers" in the clues are really objects-

the CARROCK is a similar geological formation to the more southerly Cair Andros, or "Ship of Long Foam". Could #3 be that?

Phosphorous may well be caustic, but I was thinking of pH, which tells you how acidic or basic/alkaline/caustic something is. The 'all other lights go out' connection is correct.

That seems a reasonable assumption, and Cair Andros is indeed the Ship of Foam. But you'll need to drop out of Elvish to find the Ship of Rock.

Yes- Cair Andros is in Gondor (between Anórien and Ithilien), but the two are roughly in line.

Minas Ithil is described as having had "imprisoned moonlight welling through the marble walls", so you might consider it one big lamp, I suppose.

Arkenstone and Laurelin for the reasons mentioned, and Pervinca got the password (it's lamps as in the Two Lamps). But Minas Ithil is wrong, as are Moon, Moon Tower, and Minas Morgul. They'd all fit the theme, actually, but I went for a somewhat more obscure answer.

There's actually nothing cryptic about 3 - it's an accurate description of events.
