**ANNOUNCEMENT - BARROW-DOWNS BIRTHDAY MAY 1st!**
The Barrow-Downs forum will be six years old on May 1, 2006. The Barrow-Wight has reportedly been seen hovering in and around his barrow, but no party invitations have been forthcoming. Since quite a few members are away in far parts, such as hunting werewolves in Tol-in-Gaurhoth, chasing anakronisms in Mordor, or improbably racing mountains, he may have thought that no one would come. Let's surprise him with lots of birthday cards! What kind of card will you send? Will it have a picture, some funny lines written on it, or perhaps even include a poem for the occasion? Check out the Barrow-Downs section in the morning to show and tell what your congratulations look like! A new thread will be placed there for that very purpose.

Speaking in the Third person for a moment...
I can assure you that Hookbill will be celebrating heartily and creating one of his patented Photo shopped things for the occasion. It will have to be brilliant...
All that’s left to say is… HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BARROW DOWNS! (for tomorrow).

Hookbill, I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to one of your wonderful pictorial concoctions!
All others - please post your cards and letters here.

The mailbag is still open and will be all this week, so don't worry if you haven't been able to post your birthday greetings yet. You can do so today or in the next few days! The above link applies...
