About the new comic

I looked at the comic and what does the display of one of the computers show?

The mainpage of Homestarrunner.com . I never knew that BW visited that kind of places.

Question

Lord of the Floppies has truely changed my life. It's hilarious!

Gandy: Ages ago, in the 1980s, Sauron first burned the Disks of Power in the Mainframe of Doom.

Frodo: Why make a disk in the first place? Why not something more common, like a ring?

Gandy: How could he have made a ring with a mainframe?

Frodo: Well, how could he make a floppy with a mainframe?

Gandy: You really are a geek, Frodo!

LotF is funny!! I LMAO when Gandalf hit Sam, and then Frodo says outside of the panel: "Hit him again!"

Thumbs up

My favorite part:
Quote:
Ages ago, in the 1980s, Sauron first burned the Disks of Power in the Mainframe of Doom.

Nine for the kings of men… Easily corrupted by simple viruses.
Seven for the Dwarf Lords… Greedy enough to invest capital in doomed dot.com ventures…
Three for the Elves… Wise enough to immediately virus check and backup…

They remained hidden.

One Disk to rule them all
One Disk to find them
One Disk to bring them all
And on the server bind them.

Do you mean the new Saruman one or the old cell phone one? Thank you either way
By the way, when will the next comic installment be coming out?

I mean the new one with Saruman. Look, I have Saruman in my avatar too! Wee Saruman!

Don't ask me when the next comic will be out, but I'll surely checking up on it. I think it's the Barrow-Wight who draws/writes them.

Cool Marima: Saruman in Animé style. Have to love it. Yup, it is BW who draws it.

As soon as you donate enough money to the Barrow-Downs.

burrahobbit! Now I am forced to refute your comment and answer the question.

1) LotF, like many projects on the Downs, has stalled due to lack of time or, more often, motivation. It may continue one of these days if I come up with more story.

2) Don't listen to burra. He still owes the Downs $11. We can't even begin to think about LotF until those funds are returned.

Yes, I too like LotF very much. Especially the "Hit him again!" part (and I'm a Sam fan! My goodness, what's become of me?). So if you ever find the time and motivation, Mr. Barrow-Wight, more LotF comics would be greatly appreciated by me, at least.

I think burra was referring to the debt of $11 he owes the Downs...
