If Tom Bombadil was Eru, why was he limited to a certain area? Ah well, whatever. I think he's just some weird guy in boots that Tolkien created to stall, because he was having trouble furthering the plot. (Can anyone say, "Trotter"?)

And I think the Frodo making out with the One Ring wisecrack was the most disgusting thing, maybe not as disgusting as Sam and Bill the Pony, but definitely shameful.
