P.S. Volo, your PM box is full. EDIT: Just X-ed with you Volo...sorry.

I'm very enthusiastic about this and so glad to see Roa back! Yay, we're starting soon! I'm only slightly concerned of my schoolwork as I'm required to return an English research paper on some English language classic (in my case, Wuthering Heights) tomorrow, and I've sworn to do it the whole night, if necessary, and if ww begins tonight... Oh, never mind, I can stand up staying up late, let's just hope my sister does not mind (poor her)...
And I can see the day 0.0 already... Nogrod and I raging that everybody should vote just to leave traces... Ooh, looks promising.

I'll start sending your roles after 6PM, after that there will be no chance to change your stage1 Days.
I do hope that everybody is aware of the game starting today, because a few players haven't replied my PMs. |

Just letting everyone know I AM still in the game. College network had issues last night/this morning so I couldn't pop in to check on things.
Anyway....with no further ado....my bio (half of which probably won't be as funny as intended unless you're from my area, but still....) Name: Sally Underdale Title(s): Queen of the Midget People, Dwarves' Advocate, Keeper of the Random Objects, and various others Equipment (among others): - a snazzy bow, complete with arrows dipped in iocane powder - a compass which glows purple at the approach of adversaries (but doesn't point north. Go figure) - an enchanted deck of cards - a spork - the rack of doom (my favorite and littlest-known weapon) - sarcasm and a left hook - mad skills Significant (and some heroic) deeds: - fended off a pack of orcs with nothing but a deck of cards and a magic marker - united dwarves and others of diminutive stature to gain rights for the height-challenged - slayed the great Moose of Troser Annam, with the help of my pet duck Emily - helped rescue a group of hobbits from certain death and led them across the great green lake of Enaod - first left-handed female (left-handed anyone, but who's counting?) to win the coveted Worraps cup for bravery, trickery, and overall wonderfulness Star sign: Marvolo Favorite food: whatever's available and not made by myself Favorite drink: a fizzy drink made from the berries of the fufu bush Favorite sport: playing hacky sack with orc livers Favorite color: quite a lovely shade of dark purple Weirdest rumor you have heard about yourself: that I am secretly engaged to an Ent. Ridiculous, obviously. They're far too short for my taste. Hobbies: playing sudden-death 10-point pitch, biting small horses, reading ancient runes, torturing innocents by means of mind games and puzzles, causing other general chaos, orc tipping Tell us something that nobody else knows about you: If I told you, then somebody would know, negating the whole subject. Honestly, who comes up with these questions?

Gil, plainly and simply: yesterDay it was Day 0.0, when all people posted and you and several others did not show up. Now there is the first of the Stage Days, when only me and two other people are posting, you have probably a PM from Volo when your Stage Day is (just don't tell us! That's supposed to be a secret only you know!).
And you can delete your post in the game thread. That's our Day now.

It's a gladiator setting, Gil. Day 0.0 we all discussed and debated. Now the fights begin. Each 24 hour period has three people (a gifted, a wolf, and an ordo) who can post and vote, but only for each other. No one one knows anyone else's role, including the wolves. Your day has been assigned already. There are 7 of these battles for 21 players. At the end of these battles, we have a village of 14 and depending on what happened in the arena, we could have anywhere from 1-7 wolves, 1-7 gifteds, and 1-7 ordos.
Today the match up is between Legate, Menel, and Valier. In less than an hour, that battle will end with a lynch (we won't know the role of the dead) and the next battle begins between three new players who have already been assigned. Does that help?

To clarify, Ka, there's no Night between the individual battles, but there will be a Night phase after the end of the 7th battle. I assume at that point the "host" will be the starting wolf kill, the people who get to dream/hunt/whatever can do so, and the wolves meet and come up with a strategy, and game play will continue as normal.

Weremoose Found
I was bored today, and had extra time on my hands...
So I decided to spend time with my brother for once, so we watched his favourite television show for a bit. Forgot the name of it, but I saw a moose-creature that reminded me of Menel's, which led to me laughing and saying, 'The weremoose!!!' Surprisingly enough, this moose also had a bad temper towards hunters. Hmm. So here you are Menel, your weremoose: Enjoy. ~ Curious Ka

Then another character that had special powers or something, tried to free the hunter character, with little success as the parent creature tried to kill and eat both of them. It just ended up 'scaring off' both the weremoose and little weremoose. I think the screenwriters could have done more with the weremoose attack, frankly. I expected more entertainment. It was all very amusing. Though, the offspring was rather adorable for a time. Though, I've actually eaten moose before and it does taste particularly nice, sort of like ostrich or buffalo, but reindeer is far better. ~ Picky Ka

I don't think I can play WW here at the Barrowdowns any more. I'm in college, I have the theatre, plus I'm in the USA, which automatically puts me at a disadvantage. I apparently don't have the amount of time to play that I thought I did (not that it matters much, because I rarely get past the first day any more, for some reason [why I don't know, it's not as if I'm a threat to anyone {mostly it's lynching, because no matter what I do, I end up being suspicious to someone, and it's actually become quite upsetting}]).
I may be back, I may not. I doubt you'd miss me anyway. :P |

I understand, hope you can play again sometime I have a feeling that werewolf would have been quite different if you had more time, which I can understand since I'm in college m'self (I got lucky this thursday and friday and only had one class to attend). Anyways, I hope you can play again sometime. Good luck with theatre, that is neat. I love it, but I never could pull it off, I'm a bit too introverted and I don't think my pathetic experience with stage props in middle school disproves that fact... So for that line of work, for all its stress and management, to be dedicated about it is lovely. Hope it turns out! ~ Ka

But....but....but we like you. We really like you. And we'll certainly miss you. If you must retire from WW, then so be it, but that would be quite a shame because even though I'm quite a newbie on here I truly enjoy playing with you. (Sorry you died by the way. Tragic.) And I'm sure others do as well. You're a good player Shasta, even if you might not have a lot of time to thoroughly enjoy the game. Do try to play again sometime, even if it's only the occasional game because....well, because you're awesome. *sigh* Besides, I don't want to be the only American theater student on the board.

Nooo, Shasta! Don't give up and leave! I know exactly how hard balancing college, theater, and WW can be, as I'm doing so myself at this time. Please keep playing. I know how frustrating it can be to get lynched early, as it happens to me often enough that if I make it to the fourth day, I get excited. :P We'll miss you if you quit playing forever!

Well, like I told Volo in a very nice PM he sent, I wasn't planning on leaving forever! I just probably won't be joining every game that comes along, depending on my schedule. I'll still be around, just not as much.

it was all bad timing... i knew my day was saturday but i got dragged out of the house, and by time i got back it was too late... the gods of werewolf really did not want me to play this game... now i feel bad cause i just ruined one of the days, and i have this week off so that meant you would have had me ALL WEEK. sigh...
i might be making the same statement as shasta, RL is really taking all my time, and i really need to get my act together being an 18 yr old, i still need to get into post-secondary, study my current course and much much more. out of all the WW games i remember being in, i only count two good games that i participated in... out of a possible 15...
