Yes, I will admit that I had that thought as well...only I was thinking it was going to kiss him. That would be...strange.

Well, I must admit when I saw TTT for the second time, I had had a conversation with my friend concerning the whole "replace some word with the word 'pants'" thing. I watched the part where Éomer says, "I would cut your head from your shoulders if it were but a little higher from the ground." Then, Legolas retorted as he drew his bow: "You would be dead before your blow fell!" I suddenly heard him say, "You would be dead before your pants fell!" and had mental images of Éomer standing there in a pair of white red-polka-dotted boxer shorts. Quite laughable.

That Borormir's Death Sneeze was a mental image I got while watching the movie at three o'clock in the morning. I should stop staying up so late.

I can always envision a flaming Ringwraith starting all the grass and such around Weathertop on fire and burning the hobbits and Aragorn to death, but that could be my sadistic side talking. :

I have the French and Saunders ringwraith on a shetland pony engraved in my mind, along with a ringwraith on a horse, trying to chase the hobbits but failing miserably because the horse is eating the grass.

Unfortunately, I have only seen to when they're entering Moria in the first movie, and I haven't seen almost anything from the 2nd movie except from cuts from that documentary-thing so I'll try...

At that part in the book (which I can't find anymore!) when saruman says he is saruman of many colors that was my strongest mental image and I almost laughed myself sick...and when Bilbo turns evil in the movie I can just imagine Frodo squeaking in suprise and hitting bilbo on the head with a book or something..... Elrond morphing into Arwen in Frodo's "dream"

The unassuming movie viewer would expect that, I guess.

omg! i read this in a diff thread and now whenever i see tt i thinkof it:
When its the Arwen-Aragorn sleepy part:

Arwen: go to sleep
Aragorn: i am asleep. this is a dream.
*arwen has her back to aragorn, she turns around and has Saruman's face*
(in sarumans voice) Then it is a bad dream!

Hats off to whoever did that!!

When I saw the Aragorn/Arwen dream scene, I got this nasty mental image. So throught that scene I had to remind myself that TTT is rated PG13 and not R. (I know, my mind is perverted)

When Gimli was talking to Eowyn I got this strange mental image of them dating. (Same with Galadriel in the Extended Version of FOTR)

During the council scene, Legolas just gets that really insane, possesed look on his face. (When Frodo puts the ring down) I can just see him lunging for it and running off with it..weird eh?

Merry and Pippin's love of cabbage is a puzzlement to me. If they had a chance, would they sit down and devour fistfuls of cabbage leaves? As if they were potato chips? I freakin' hate cabbage. I am not aware of any young men who would get excited about cabbages.

Due to my watching too much Goldeneye and then watching FotR, I imagined Boromir saying, "For England" after killing the first advancing Uruk-Hai to protect Merry and Pippin. Likewise, when I watch Goldeneye I see Trevelyan saying, "For Gondor, James." I'm a really messed up person that way.

On one of the movie blooper threads, someone said something about Gandalf eating the moth (when he's stuck on Orthanc), so now whenever I see that part I imagine him stuffing the moth into his mouth and eating it. I actually shouted "Eat it! Eat it!!" one time, which really freaked out my mom.

At Amon Hen, when Frodo's running backwards after Aragorn says "where is the ring?" I always imagine him falling on his butt.

Likewise, in the beginning when he jumps off gandalf's cartything and is turned around waving at him, i always imagine him crashing into a tree or tripping or something.

on Amon Hen when Aragorn gets that "OH NO!" look whe Sting has gone blue, the second before I remember that I always think of him thinking "Frodo your fingernails look disgusting"

(And I have said this elsewhere but) just after Frodo's looked in Galadriels mirror and he falls back all of a sudden I think 'Don't let hunger pains hit you!

I was just watching the trailer when I heard Eomer say :"What business has a man an elf and a dwarf?" it stopped there because my computer hadn't finished loading and I just suddenly thought of the three of them going "Why, we're selling candy-floss of course!" Don't ask me why candy-floss, that's just what popped into my head.

what if frodo was like totally posessed by the ring during FOTR and when he and sam hug in the boat...in stead of them hugging, sam leans in to hug frodo and frodo like slaps him and throws him out of the boat and does this little evil laugh as he rows away... i dont think it could or WOULD have happend..but i was bored... On the movie cover for FOTR Frodo looks like he's going "Why is there a bunch of people behind me? And what the hell is a camera doing there? Is it taking pictures? I'm confused!"

In FotR when Frodo throws away his sword and lies down I always expect Sam to say:"Lie you comfartable, Mr Frodo?" Or in the German version I understand Lurtz´s "Find the halflings!" (Findet die Halblinge) as "Distrain on the halflings!" (Pfändet die Halblinge). That makes sense! And when the company gets out of Moria and Aragorn calls "Frodo!" I thought he would go on like "That´s the wrong way!".

Arwen and Aragorn: Bridge in Rivendell, Fotr.

Arwen: It is mine to give to whom i will, like my heart.

then instead of kissing him, she solemnly ho0lds up a tube of mascara and carefully starts applying it to aragorn.

or she solemnly holds a pistol to his head and fires.

or she turns round and walks off with Glorfindel, or Boromir (take your pick), who were hiding in the bushes all along.

Version 2 of yours: (I don't mean to steal your idea)

Arwen: It is mine to give to whom I will, like my heart...now wait, wait, wait. Whoever said I was giving it to you? I just wanted to ask you if it'd look good with my wedding dress. I'm marrying Glorfindel, you know, to make up for knocking him out and tying him to a tree while I went to rescue Frodo... *gets no further because Aragorn attempts to strangle her*
PJ: Cut! Cut! Medical officials! Viggo's gone crazy!

Yes, silly and dumb, I know. I just have too much time on my hands...*sigh*

I lol at you all! Did anyone see the movie "Stargate", where the yak thing slobbers all over the guys' face? That's the mental image I get when I see Brego kissing Aragorn. Also, when he falls, Legolas looks like he's either going to fall asleep, or break dance.
And then when Eomer does the "Saruman's spies" line, it looks like Leggys' going to throw a tantrum right then and there, the spoiled prince!
"Then it is a bad dream" priceless, that!

ha ha, wow I'm never gonna watch the movies again without cracking up!!! Hee Hee...anyway, just thought I'd add my wierd mental image. In FotR, when all the little hobbit-kids are running behind Gandalf saying "fireworks Gandalf..." and then theres a shot of Gandalf's face which looks strangely sinister, I always think that he's gonna let off this massive firework and just blast all those little hobbit-kids with Dorset accents away...Awww...BANG! Sorry, I'm not REALLY horrible and evil, I'm just in a funny mood tonight
