Fordim's new avatar is a bit weird - like a teddy crossed with a panda..

Fordim's new avatar wins by a million. Is he trying to impress the image I already have of him even deeper into my mind? There's no hope for recovery now.

Bravo! Fordim's newest avatar is indeed wonderful! So then, instead of snakes, it must be... "Fleas. Why does it have to be fleas...?"

I see our glorious leader now smiles down upon us in the form of a new avatar.

It is rather cheery, in a greenish sort of way.

Nah. I'd recognise that chap anywhere. Isn't it Casper the Firendly Ghost? It seems Mr W is seeking to lure Downs residents into a false sense of security.

I suspect that a sizable percentage of Heren-Istarion's once-so-dedicated, now-so-distraught fangirls will now be found shrilly pursuing Fordie's pugatar.

No, I really do think that it is stay puft marshmallow man. You can clearly see a bit of his hat. *shudders* I never look at a marshmallow again without thinking about him, of course I still eat them though.

Shield Nope! Nope! Nuh uh!

Actually, my avatar is neither Casper or the Marshmallow thing, though it is marshmallow related. With this small clue, I challenge everyone (except maybe Bethberry who was there when I first came up with this new avatar) to unravel this mystery!

Boots I make it a rule never to get involved with possessed people.

Oh boo hoo! You are all so wrong. It is totally surreal.

And, no, Fordum, I like marshmellows only when they are in campfire s'mores, although I've been known to appreciate certain Cadillac hearses.

My dear Gil-Galad, it is with great regret that I must tell you that you are one hundred percent mistaken.

Okay, maybe not that much regret.

I dig yours, Beleg. Very fitting. If I were to have an avatar which would fit my title... it would have a violin being played with a sword rather than a bow. 'Twould be cool, albeit a bit dangerous.

Well put, Lord Wight.

I, personally, am glad to see the saucepan man back in action. Although I have noticed, thanks to this thread, that very few people ACTUALY have middle earth related avatars. Well, I pride myself on being one of those who have a Tolkien avatar, but that’s only because I like that symbol and its coolness.

As you yourself note... you have more of a Tolkien avatar than a middle-earth avatar.

Which isn't to say that I think that bad. Mine own avatar is completely unconnected with middle-earth.

Actually, I find it interesting that the avatars I tend to think of most memorably here are the movie ones: Boromir88, Lhunardawen, Eomer of the Rohirrim, etc...
And great as the movies were, I'm not even a big fan...

Strange.
