My avatar's cool. I think I'm the only Nazgul person here with one, if I check the Memberlist right. Also, if anyone else wants an avatar or some other graphic, just ask me, I'll see what I can do...

Actually, Witch-King, I think we've got a few. If I remember correctly, One of the Nine is one of them... I do agree on your avatar though. I noticed it the first time I saw your name on here. Very nice.

Yay! Perky's back to Calvin and Hobbes! It was quite a shock when you changed it last time. Changed my life it did. *shivers* (Actually, reading that sentence, one would wonder that I had a life.)

Yes, hobbes is back. It's a really nice avatar. It says so much. And I'm glad to hear it had such an impact on you Bethberry has a nice avatar. I'm not sure what it is, but I like it. And Son of Numenor's is awesome

You are correct, Menel. That is in fact the fantabulous ME ME ME.
symestreem's duct tape has always held a certain facination for me. Is that a wheel? It's a bird! It's a plane! Evisse the Blue's blue lady I liked very much. Very classic-artsy and mediaeval. Her new one (a rose on ice?) is very nice, too. Witch King's pic of the Witch King is awesome. And so is Morsul the Dark. A very bold statement, M. And clearcut, too.

Inkling Elf 's Spock avatar is very cool.
Son of Numenor's Hobbes rocks more than Perky Ent's .

InklingElf, may you live long and prosper. I think the funniest thing about my picture (besides of course the "battlescar") is that I really had no idea I was in it. I was FISHING. Out on the boat in the middle of a lake with my brothers and dad. My brother asked me to lean out of the way so he could take a picture of the shoreline he was sketching, but I guess I didn't lean back enough, so my avatar? It's approximately 1/40 of the original picture. I must say, I did a great job blowing and sharpening it up. And it perfectly catches me giving my brother a "Why are you making me move? I'm FISHING." look.Fea

Alas, no. I've been registered on the Downs for too little time, considering how long I've known about them. I must have missed your earlier tribute to The Simpsons.

I notice that Sharkû has an interesting new avatar. Very American West"ish."
Yea verily, "Charon Out Boating on the River Styx" was rapidly dispatched (or at least that is the theme it called to my mind, me being utterly ignorant of art). I kind of liked it.

It's Vivi! I've been looking for it for so long, and finally found it!
It's a cute little character out of FF IX, a little black mage. Glad you like it!

Mariska, when I first saw it I thought it was Orko from He-Man.
*Looks in vain for any other He-Man fans......and no, I'm not seven years old!*

He-Man, He-Man... lemme see, I seem to vaguely remember something...um...like a real big honcho? hairy one? with a real big sword? meaning - magical one? half naked (that is, both - sword and man)? riding some kind of dinausaur?
If that'd be him, I'm in. I was a fan of his, just it was a long time ago

LL&P, InklingElf!
I was a trekkie for a year before I became obsessed with LotR...heh, still am...I still wear my Starfleet uniform to school occasionally...

Elennar, you have a starfleet uniform? I'm jealous. I'm definately a bit of a trekkie (or trekker, whichever you prefer), although I guess I'm not that hardcore about it. I've watched NexGen reruns since I was little, and have developed a strong love for it, and I've started watching older stuff now. I occasionally watch DS9 with my brothers. One of my favorite movies is Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Greatest (see: weird plot and hilarious) Star Trek movie ever.
Another great avatar that I don't think I've mentioned before is... aww shucks, I've forgotten who's it is. The avatar is a beautiful blue lady... Strikes me every time. Fea Edit: The blue lady belongs to Niluial, and I just noticed GaladrieloftheOlden's. Very nice, Galadriel.

I like Evisse's new one...and her old one...
Fea: TVH is excellent...I used to watch it almost every day...it was the first Star Trek I ever saw (because it was the only one my parents would let me watch when I was about six years old). Still love it. But I think I might like WOK better...or maybe SfS...(Wrath of Khan and Search for Spock) Those three are definately the best...I still cry at the end of WoK... I made the uniform from a pair of black knit pants and a blue shirt I spraypainted...I made a combadge out of sculpey...('tis a TNG uniform) Woh...seriously off-topic...

Sounds like it HI! It was a big cat of some sort (named Battlecat). SamwiseGamgee has a beyond awesome avatar of Skeletor which I already mentioned on this thread, but now that He-Man is being discussed I feel we need a reminder. The juxtaposition of the amazingly-good Samwise and the amazingly evil Skeletor is extremely strange, but good!
Fea, I just felt it was time for a change. Who knows? Perhaps in the future I shall acquire a digital camera and stick a picture of ME in there! I have liked all my avatars, but I feel I must lay the ghosts of the past to rest. Andrew WK, Otto, Eomer (Urban).....I will never forget you!

Joining the club of E.Fester's avatar funs. I have a crush for skulls, it may seem. I suppose it is Terry Pratchett's mostly cute Death to blame.
