Rimbaud, is that some kind of response to Formendacil?

Whoda thunk it? Rim has gone and done it.
Now, shall we see a run on Asterix avatars? Let's see. Shall I be Bravura, the female bard who wears Pants: or shall I be Bacteria, aka Remouladine? In response to a chat with Esty, I have found one of Panacea, who Esty knows as Falbala. (Lo! I first typed in Zesty there!): However, I also can see you as Mrs. Geriatrix. It's the red hair I think--so Princess Fiona. Now, this gives me ideas . . .

Brilliant, Bb! I have dibs on Mrs. Geriatrix then...

I love Rikae's werewolf-avatar. It really looks like her old avvie has transformed into this vile creature.

I've been wondering for some time why Beanamir of Gondor has a Charlotte Brontë avatar.

I have long been confused with dancing spawn of ungoliant's avatar. What is it?

It's a close up of Shelob, the giant spider in Return of the King. Shelob is the daughter of Ungoliant, the first Spider, who was so terrible that she even made Morgoth nervous. Hence, Shelob = Spawn of Ungoliant. The name and the avvie go together.

It is Gollum from the FotR movie (where it looked different from the later movies). Take a look at this. Doesn't it look familiar?

Haha, knew something was wrong. What if Gollum is actually also a spawn of Ungoliant?

Is there any particular reason why your Thenamir link points to Mister Underhill's page?
Figured I'd better post here to let everyone see the avatar you're talking about! There seems to be a run on black-and-white avatars -- Squatter of Amon Rudh, The Saucepan Man, and many others. I rather like the idea.

Oh because I clicked your name when your name was the last person that posted and I didn't realize it would link to the last person posted and on that thread it is now Mr. Underhill. While I like the black and white I adore the man in the picture.

Thenamir, yes, it certainly is! One of the best female singers of all time... I'm a great fan of hers.

But I must say I like Mithalwen's avatar... and after looking up and down some of her new posts, I can say that I have no problem in associating it with her, it fits almost as well as the blank place before

I've actually been wondering for a while, so now I'll finally ask...
Whose eyes are those in your avatar Legate?

There were other adepts in my mind (I thought also about "cycling" the eyes at one point), but I chose him, because he probably had the best eyes for it, in my opinion, from the collection of photos of people I had available.
