Tolkien

Read the Silmarillion, it has all the answers you seek.

Basically the Elves left ME and went to Valinor which is the place were you could say their Gods lived, they left i think because they were tired of ME and seeing all the ages pass them by and because it was the time of Men

Lets establish a constant-if you got to a tolkien forum, read at least the silmarillion, even if it seems more boring to you than "a history of the tweezers." you will get crushed, confused, and such if you don't. you will not be able to partake-at least intelligently-of probably anywhere from 60-80% of the topics here. READ IT!!!
