Have the hobbits in the caves ever seen an elf before Pio?

Sharon,

See my two posts; Gamba has to return from his Locks excursion to Candlestones, and will be late to the meeting. I'd start the meeting fairly late anyway, or start it with the elders. Phura will be almost on time, not quite.

Bird-- still chuckling.

This is too strange. First I have an entire day when the internet won't let me on. Then I get a memo from Mithadan that he can't get on the Downs. Now I am unable to get any of my posts to go through after six futile attempts (cross your fingers on this one).

You think this is coincidence? All of this happened after we began to discuss the Men's rescue. Cami knows the anger of Ulmo when she sees it, even if the Man doesn't.

BTW, Mith, Pat, Carol, please check your pms.

sharon

Addendum: I just got a pm from Helen, and she has also had trouble with the site all morning!

Did you send me a PM? I got an email, but that is all.

Can no one start the hobbit meeting and get Mithadan introduced there?

Do you want me to amend a previous post and get you all started? Or is it that you are still having trouble getting on to the site?

I have written up the entire meeting. Please let me get it up one way or another. I am having serious ISP problems. They come tomorrow to fix.

My first section is posted before Helen's. Hers clashes with mine. I sent her a pm. Please let me get these up one way or the other. Mith and I consulted about some stuff by pm.

The Downs itself is very slow which doesn't help.

Rose --

The hobbits in this meeting did speak with Pio when she came to them the first time. But the rest of the hobbits in the cave have never seen an Elf, unless they are very old and happened to see Tuor's rescue party which came to take the Stoors down the river just before they became hobbrim.

Sharon, when the meetings' over and folks are trooping out, Gamba needs a short post with Nitir. Even better if Mith can also pause at the coffins again. (hint)--Helen

That is inspired. Cami thought she was in good shape by having people offer to kneel to her and acknowledging her great wisdom. But Elbereth! My own contribution pales beside yours.

Are a few more Nitir/Azra/Daisy/Gamba/Phura/Esta posts needed before we go forward? Then there is Bird's daring rescue of the sacrices-to-be. Maybe a very few more scenes on the Star before the Teleri before we go up the river towards our stunning ending!

We should consider our timetable for moving things along before we step on ourselves by moving too quickly. Any other loose ends to wrap up? Another speech by Gorthaur perhaps?

Another Phura/ Azra/ Azraph conversation, and Two more Candlestones games, and the stuff about Esta, for sure. They're already written & waiting. However, most of that does not yet have Nitir & Azra involvement, I'm waiting to add that in as things develop. Also waiting on Bird & Sharon's leads about this special cleaning assignment... buckets and mops?...

Please don't go too fast. I have 3 posts. One goes up now. The second is Daisy and Cami. The last is Cami and Loremaster. I'll try to get them up as fast as I can. But I have this person coming to fix my system sometime between noon and 5 p.m.

I guess I could always put the posts consecutively in one box if needed.

No Problem. I have (1) a lunchtime or dinnertime post between Phura, Azra and Azraph, then (2) Candlestones "tonight"; ..... and then "tomorrow night", when the whole Esta story will unravel. From the game of Candlestones tomorrow night til Gamba's arrest the following night, I've got about ten posts ready. I'm not sure what Nitir and Azra will be doing whlie all that is going on? Do you want to be in the thick of Gamba and Phura's doings, or do you want to be off doing other things, or half and half, or let's just wait and see one post at a time? (the latter could take quite a while to engineer. Should I just email you all the whole file??)

As to slowing the story a little - that's fine with me. I'm working on AAWtK, then will be gone most of the day.

I have one post 'saved' which will be getting Pio and Mithadan back to the Star. I'll put that up later.

Y'all should know I'm gone all next week, Mon thru Fri. You can all just keep going--that's ok with me if its OK with you. But if we don't get thru the Esta/ Gamba story first, poor Sharon will have to do the integration, and I don't envy her that. Of course, since Bird is doing the rescue I could heap it all on Bird!

I think Azra is going to be very curious and explore the caves. So she probably will get mixed up in Gamba and Phura's doings. Whatever they are. Although I will be gone this weekend so if you would be so kind as to slow down the story 'till I get back. I'd like to be there for the rescue. Though, if you'd like to go ahead I shouldn't keep you back.

Oh, and one more thing. * gives Mith a hug*
You know what that's for. Thank you!

Rose, I don't have any problem doing that; I don't have much planned for the actual rescue anyway, at the moment; all my stuff is working up to the moment before.

But if we slow everything down this weekend, and I'm gone the next week, then that would mean I'd need an integration volunteer for ten posts. I don't think I should burden Sharon with integration again unless she wants it. Badly. So.... Bird? Mith?

As you can see, Rose is looking for trouble. Make sure she get's her share of fun while I'm gone. Hm.. I was wondering why Phura was stareing. I thought Rose had a smuge on her nose or somthing.

Anyway, don't have too much fun without me and be good. See ya!
