Silmaril Quest for Expertise...

OK, forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong section! But I was wondering if there is anyone out there willing to help me with my fanfic. I want it to be as accurate as possible but I haven't read all the books yet! (On Chp 3? of RotK) I would like an editor of sorts to help weed out the boring things but keep the accuracy. Ok I've noticed my repition so I am going to bed now!

Hi!

Is there anything about Saruman, Isengard or Orthanc, I can probably answer

Explanation: I doing a comic in which he appears, and that forced me to do a lot of research... Whew does he have a complicated history or what. Not to mention Sauron. I know a bit about him as well! I'd be happy to help.

You can also check out this site: The Encyclopedia of Arda. It was [B]very[B/] useful to me.

Good luck!

I cannot help with Middle Earth; years of reading it but not confident enough, sorry. If you want information about ancient british culture, swords, clothes, art etc for extra details I can. So sorry that I'm no use but the very best of luck.

Does anyone have knowledge with post War of the Ring years...My story begins with the death of Elessar and Arwen and quickly proceeds to the departure of the last of the Fellowship to Aman, the Undying Lands.

Hi Yerniel!

Have you checked out the Appendixes in LotR? There you'll find the most information about the post WotR-years, I believe.

Well, unless I am blind, or skimmed too quickly, the Appendices don't have the info I need...It basically ends with the deaths of the King and Queen and then the departure of the last of the Fellowship. My story takes places at that moment and then quickly jumps to like 30 years later? I'm not sure exactly when...

Thanks to all who have responded!

Sounds interesting. Do you still want help wi the editing etc? I'd love to if you do. (tho I'm probably only of much use regarding the storyline, my grammer's almost non-existant and my spelling's not great either) With info I'm limited to the Hobbit and the LotR with some random background on them. If you want, feel free to email me at davidone_2000@msn.com or IM me. G'luck wi the writing!
