Shield What if Boromir had lived?

Let's say Borormir survived the many arrows that were shot at him and the end of THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING. What do you think would have happened? Would he have gone to Gondor. Would he have gone after Frodo and Sam? What do you think?

I say he would have had to have gone straight to Gondor to recover. He would have also screwed things up with Denethor and Aragorn, methinks, you know, revealing Aragorn's identity, and the ring, then Denethor would have revealed the whole quest for the destruction of the ring to Sauron when he next looked into the Palantir...Byebye ME.

He did repent what he attempted to do, with Frodo and the ring already gone, he may have followed Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli to help free the other two Hobbits, and helped free Rohan from the forces of Saruman, since Rohan was crucial to the war with Sauron.

But even though he repented himself do you think he would have tried to get the ring again if he had the chance?

With Frodo already gone and on his way to Mordor the ring would no longer be there to tempt Boromir. He would have went with Aragorn and the others.

I think you should remember that he was stuck full of arrows so he couldn't have gone with Aragorn. Gandalf and Galadriel passed the test and didn't worry about it again, but Boromir failed the test, so I'm not sure that he would have been free from temptation if he had the chance again.
