Lommy's new avatar is really quite beautiful. But shouldn't you be sticking with penguins during your psychotic penguins game?

Hookbill: I've always said it 'yo-she', if that helps any.
And Yoshi's not the best... except in Homerun Derby (for SSB Melee). You can't beat him in that. Although, speak of the devil, I do have a picture of him that I might try to get on here sometime. Also, I haven't yet said I like Kuru's Penguin avvie. I never was a fan of the cartoon version, but I loved the original 'live' show. I watched it again a couple years ago, and I've got to say it was really lame. I really loved it back in the day, though. Lastly, I've always been a fan of Daffy.

Indeed. And I must put it here for posterity, since I'll no doubt be reverting back to Daffy after I've had my fun....

We'll have to see if The Saucepan Man's new World Cup inspired avatar causes Mithalwen to have an aneurysm.

I noticed that mormegil was sporting the US flag...until approximately the time the US team stunk up the field.
The bandwagoner is currently sporting the colors of Brazil.

It is a violin (or viola) with broken A & E (or D & A) strings ... perhaps due to too vigourous a bout of double-stopping.....

No bandwagon here, no siree.
Just recalling the glory years, folks. Lord Stanley's Cup is a very fine cup and a very fine cup it be. Once upon a time my brother even gave me a Wayne Gretzky doll, Barbie-size. Sadly, it later came with a choice of team colours.

Hmmm... I thought Saucie's avvie had to be Werewolf-related, as it looks to me like our dear Saucepan Man's face is covered in blood. Apparently I was wrong.

I like Hookbill's avvie. I believe the Dwarf is meant to represent something from Mount Zoom, of which I have no knowledge whatsoever. However, I have come to associate it with Smilog, who always brings a smile to my face. And, of course, I feel a certain affection towards Dwarves in general. |

Joking aside, I'd sport a Flames avvie if they were the only Canuck team in the final. And I must say that I would really like to see Esty sporting a World Cup avvie. Can someone find a green soccer ball for her? Or Shrek in shorts and those very attractive knee highs?

Ah the World Cup, if anyone can find an animated avvie of a football slowly deflating that would probably symbolise England's trail through the stages.
Aside from that, on a trawl through the member's list in search of answers for Which Downer Am I, I'm sure that I saw another member with the phantom's avatar I don't really want to go through them all again, anyone else know if this is true or if it was just my imagination?

This is the whole painting: If you remember one of my previous avvies, it was also by Alphonse Mucha. It was a part of this painting: It is called "Summer". (Sorry, but I can't resist adding images now that I got a photobucket account a week sgo... )

Esty's new avatar Esty, it would seem, is quite the football fan. And will most likely be terribly disappointed when England put Germany out following a penalty shoot-out ... (Well, I can dream can't I? )

Dream on, Saucy!! I do like the way you modified your custom-drawn avatar - very cute!
Bb, if I had Photoshop and the ability to use it, I'd love that kind of avatar. As it is, I just shopped the internet until I found something small enough that I liked. The ball is a nice neutral image, though photoshopping it to add the German red and gold to the black already there would make it perfect. It wouldn't have to mean I'm supporting the German team (in case they don't play well enough to get very far ), but emphasize my location in the hosting country. Or I could superimpose ogre Fiona's face onto the ball. More dreams...
