well I only really noticed Legolas and maybe Frodo cause of his big blue eyes, and I did see the movie first but you still get a fairly good idea about the personalities of the characters from that.

as its a film, the actors have to be nice to look at otherwise you'll be looking at them and thinking, "Ok, so which one's the Orc?" I have to admit, I do notice when actors (and actresses) are goodlooking, and for a while had a crazy crush on Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn, but when I saw it again I began to see... Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Viggo Mortensen, Liv Tyler, Sean Bean and practically all other people in this film were fair to look upon. i dont know about you but i like it this way. its actually how i pictured them as well... so thats doubly as cool

I read somewhere that Peter Jackson deliberatly chose actors who were known but not too famous because if he had gotten really famous people to be in it they would be conflicting. Having a famous book character played by a famous actor people wouldn't know which to like more (something like that anyway)

*tuts* hehe, you really like him dontcha? i think its cute... only, some people are really strange about it... they dont even know his name and expect to marry him? bah! but, get-famous-quick-tips... hmm... theres always the make-friends-with-JK-Rowling-and-become-Fleur-for-book-4s-film idea that i had... but that'll so fall through. but im sure that if you do something radically crazy (like bungee jump off the moon) he might just notice you...

we could use the stalk-him-like-a-psycho ploy. Good in getting him to notice you but once he calls the police on you it kinda ruins your chances
