Ring Merry Brandybuck
Did any of you know that Dominic Monaghan that plays in the films Merry Brandybuck was a side kick to an Investigator in "Hetty Wainthrope Investigates" (Sp) (a British series) with Patrica Routhledge (sp) and also in a WW2 series called "Monsigour Renoire" with John Thorpe who was the Priest (M.R.) and Dominic was one of the french people that lived there and was shot for anoying the Germans and also he raped someone. He was actually a really nice character apart from the rapeing thing. Very amusing seeing someone in spats.
Anyway that's it hope it's of some use
Winter Willow

Edited by: Winter Willow at: 10/21/00 1:00:48 pm

I've seen a couple of episodes of Hetty Wainthrope.

Even though I'm english I've never watched Hetty Wainthrop, even though I've heard of it. I'm kind of wishing I did now.
And did you know that Billy was in that scottish police drama thingy, 'Taggart'? Me and my friend quote that a lot, 'there's been a mur-der'.

Wow, I actually watched that when I was sick. That's where I recognized Dom from...

Yep, Taggart's brilliant. Pity there's no-one in it called Taggart anymore... Did anyone see Orlando Bloom in Midsomer Murders? They don't say murder in quite the same interesting way but they have plenty of them!
I've seen a picture of Dom in "Hetty" and it seemed very odd...It's the Hyacinth Bucket woman right?
[ June 28, 2003: Message edited by: Lyra Greenleaf ]

I saw Midsomer Murders. And I became obsessed and taped a ton of other non-orli episodes.
Yes, that was Hyacinth Bucket.

I think I've seen everything mentioned here I saw the Hetty Wainthrop episode when me and my friend were deciding whether or not to go to the cinema - for some reason we thought watching Dominic was much more tempting. Seen the Taggart episode and Midsomer Murders too. Ah, the joys of British tv

So I see that Billy investigated mur-ders in 'Taggart' and Orlando was mur-dered in 'Midsomer Murders'... was Dominic by any chance incolved in any mur-ders whilst in 'Hetty Wainthrop'?
And talking of mur-ders makes me think of Elrond going on about Morrrr-dorrrrr.
