Silmaril

HINT- If you read the Silmarillion, you will find this out in a snap, as well as many other things.

Ah well, though. It is my way to provide explanations and not resources (curse my leniency! ). Melkor and Sauron were both of the Ainur, the first beings in Middle-earth, but while Melkor was of the greater sundering, the Valar, Sauron was a Maia like Gandalf. The Istari were the wizards who were sent to Middle-earth from Valinor. There were six Istari: Gandalf, Saruman, Radagast, and the three Blue Wizards.

The Istari were only made up of five, which means that there were only two Blue Wizards; Pallando and Alatar.

Pallando and Alatar were servants (while on Valinor) of the Vala Oromë, who knew most of the Eastern Lands. It is said that that is where the Blue Wizards went.

Melkor who's common name is Morgoth was one of the Valar(Ainur) but he is no longer counted among them.

Sauron is a Maia and was the servant of Aule.

The 5 Istari were Curumo(Saruman),Olorin(Gandalf),Aiwendil(Radgast), Pallando and Alatar who were known as "Ithryn Luin" which means the Blue Wizards. They were sent by the Valar to contest the power of Sauron.

Read The Silmarillion and The Book of Unfinished Tales

I'm not quite sure how you couldn't pick that up, I you read the Silmarillion twice.

Note: No offence meant.

That is weird that you could read a book two times and miss something so obvious. Do you zone out while reading? Sometimes I do that. I will have read a paragraph and then realize I had zoned out and I can't remember what I just read. I suggest paying closer attention while you read.

i usually zone out too unless its a real interesting story. Also the first time i readf it it was way over my head and i understood nothing. I usually read some of my favorite stories like turin's and beren and luthien's over and over while the other i just kinda skim thru almost. especially the beginning of the book
