The Scandinavian LOTR thread

In this thread you´re supposed to post a quote from LOTR in Swedish, Icelandic, Norweigan or Danish. Ok? Everyone is free to answer and post, and the rules goes as usual.
I´ll start:

"Jag har inte känt mig så ung sedan jag var ute och vandrade med er barn" (FOTR)

Let the fun begin!

EDIT: I have decided to let people post quotes in
any Scandinavian language, and renamed the thread.

I dont know if its apropriate to have an scandinavian qoute thread in an english speaking forum - but untill someone tells me otherwise I'll give it a shot:
Treebeard to Merry and Pippin ?

Telchar 10-03-2002 06:24 AM

or maybe rather Legolas to the Fellowship ?

Eärendil 10-03-2002 10:42 AM

Ooops, I meant it was in The Two Towers...
Well, I am not sure if it´s ok or not, but no wrong in posting one before knowing, right? I am sure we will notice..

Yes, it´s Legolas, talking to Aragorn and Gimli.

Telchar 10-04-2002 02:14 AM

Try this one:
Quote:

It´s Hirgon, (or the man that was with him, a bit difficult to know from the Swedish version... ). Phew, that took some time to find! (And now I just hope I am right..)

Telchar 10-08-2002 03:31 AM

you are right

Eärendil 10-08-2002 09:28 AM

Next one:
"Hej Bergil! ropade han. Vart är du på väg någonstans? Roligt att se dig igen - och i livet!" (Easy one)

eleniwilwarin 10-10-2002 01:43 AM

may it be pippin?

Eärendil 10-10-2002 01:45 AM

You´re correct eleni.

vanwalossien 10-10-2002 04:32 AM

I'm gonna have a lot of problems figuring these out, I've never read LOTR in Norwegian, but at least I understand what they say...

eleniwilwarin 10-10-2002 11:03 AM

This is my quote: "Men inte desto mindre styr han väldiga riken, och nu kommer hans slag att falla fortare."

Eärendil 10-11-2002 01:39 AM

Gandalf?

Eärendil 10-11-2002 04:38 AM

eleniwilwarin 10-12-2002 10:51 AM

Eärendil 10-14-2002 10:47 AM

Quote:

Bara jagar. Dödar gorgûn i skogarna, hatar orcherfolket. Ni också hata gorgûn. Vi hjälpa er så gott vi kan.

eleniwilwarin 10-14-2002 11:28 AM

may it be treabeard?

eleniwilwarin 10-15-2002 12:09 PM

or more likely: Ghan-buri-ghan?

Eärendil 10-16-2002 09:41 AM

Ghan-buri-ghan is right eleni, go ahead.

eleniwilwarin 10-19-2002 09:21 AM

here it comes: Förträfflgt, förträffligt! jakten är över, och vi möts till sist åter på en plats där ingen av oss tänkt komma.

Mlo 10-19-2002 09:59 AM

Eärendil 10-21-2002 01:47 AM

Laivine 10-21-2002 08:48 AM

Eärendil 10-24-2002 09:40 AM

Quote:

Mlo 10-25-2002 08:42 AM

Eärendil 10-26-2002 02:16 AM

Mlo 10-26-2002 03:40 AM

YAY!! I was right . Hmm, quote......hmmmm.... well, it's not exactly a great one....
Quote:

Laivine 10-26-2002 05:44 AM

It's Aragorn, in TTT, when their horses had disappeared.

Mlo 10-26-2002 08:10 AM

Yup! Your completely right Laivine

Laivine 10-26-2002 09:10 AM

YAYYY! I have to come up with a quote then? Errrrr..
Quote:

Mlo 10-26-2002 10:38 AM

Hmm... I think it's Sam talking to Gollum....

Laivine 10-26-2002 01:34 PM

It's not Sam. Hehe.

Mlo 10-27-2002 06:43 AM

Hmmm..... Saruman?

Laivine 10-27-2002 08:50 AM

Hehe, nope it isn't Saruman either! It's in RotK. And the name of the person does start with an S Shouldn't be too hard! Hehe.

Mlo 10-27-2002 09:59 AM

Sauron? Ok, probably not, but I'm out of ideas..... And I'm sleepy

Laivine 10-28-2002 08:55 AM

LMAO, no not Sauron either... Another hint then?? It's an orc. Hehe, that should lower the possibilities considerably :P
