Knight of Gondor

Hi guys. Sorry if this is a bit of a clone from my TTT: EE support group, but we all need to support each other here until RotK comes out, and that period will be much longer than TTT:EE will be!
Help yourself to some crackers and cheese...we're in for the long haul!

Ohh, I deffinatly need to join this support group. I don't think I can make it on my own. The wait to see Shelob and Sam's heartwrenching scene with his 'dead' master... *sobs* it's more than I can take! *continues sobbing and grabs a cracker*
Only 86 days, 03 hours, and 53 minutes until its release (American Central)! ...I don't think I can make it!

Oh, this is the place for me! I need the most help. I'm going crazy with the waiting for Denethor!! *has a nervous breakdown and quickly stuffs her mouth with crackers to block her screams*
Goldberry
09-22-2003, 05:20 AM
I'm going crazy waiting for everything! *bounces all around so as not to scream loudly*
And it will be okay Meela, when it finally does come you can have the worship of Denethor all to yourself...I don't think there will be too many Denethor fangirls...

I met one a while back but I showed her... she won't be worshipping my man any more *grrr*

My friends and I have dubbed today Hobbit Day--use it as an excuse to watch FotR or tTT again. Maybe that'll help (just for today) in the wait for RotK.

You met a fellow Denethor fangirl, Meela? Wow, I hadn't thought it possible...he freaks me out...
The Shelob bit will indeed be interesting. Or just plain scary. I screamed in Harry Potter, for goodness' sake!

I can't wait to see the battle of Pelennor Fields. It's going to be so sad. I'm also excited to see Denethor. Not trying to get your man Meela.
The crackers and cheese are little sustenance but what else can we do? Better here than anywhere else. *takes cracker*
Meela

*hands round slices of charred cake in honour of Denethor*
If I meet another Denethor fangirl, I'll slap her one. Nobody gets my man. Nobody. *more grrr's*

I think I'm probably going to cry my eyes out at the movie itself, especially during the part where Eowyn kills the Witch-king. I've even got my costume planned out and everything, and I'm so excited just thinking about the movie that I'm half-coherent right now.

And Eowyn killing the Witch-king... everything! *sob*
Wow, Meela... there are other Denethor fangirls out there? I always thought you were lucky for having a lack of compitition.
Anyone care for some lembas? *pulls out batch of homemade lembas*
This whole waiting thing is torture... But then again, I think the one or two weeks before it comes out will be even worse... And can you imagine how we'll be the day before?! I'll be a wreck!

Mind if I join you? I brought popcorn.
*sits down and helps himself to cheese*
From what I've heard from the behind-the-scenes preview, ROTK is supposed to be the best one yet. I hope the Pyre of Denethor is done well!
Meela
09-23-2003, 08:36 AM
ha ha ha ha ha... don't put "Pyre of Denethor" and "done well" together... poor guy gets enough grief about his charred appearance as it is
*rolls on the floor laughing her head off, stops to eat some popcorn, then continues to laugh*
The part I'm most looking forward to is seeing Denethor toast himself. Only problem is, I'll have to get rid of all matches and lighters in our house in case I go straight home and torch myself in honour of him.

You'd better not do that, Meela, or Denethor would lose his only fangirl!!!
Wow, would you guys actually be able to get away with dressing up? This must be an American thing, no one would dare to do it here...it would be funny to see them try...to see all the scathing looks they'd receive...ah me!

Mmmm... I love cheesecake! thanks, Knight of Gondor! *grabs rather large slice of cheesecake*
Yeah Elentári, we could get away with dressing up Not too many people do it where I live, in the suburbs, But it's been done by the obsessors *like me*
When I went to see Harry Potter on opening day there were about... 10 or 15 people dressed up. It was actually pretty cool.
I hope I'm not the *only* one dressed up this year... It's gonna be my first year dressing up for the movie... I'm sewing an Elvish dress

May I join?
*Looks longingly at the cheesecake -- turns resolutely away.*
I, personnally, can't wait to see Eowyn and Faramir kiss (it was dramatic in the book, but I normally don't go for the kissy stuff) and to see Arwen's and Aragorn's and Eowyn's and Faramir's wedding. *Looks menacingly at PJ and hisses, "You better have that in there." OF course, if he doesn't think he has time to do the wedding the kiss would be okay too....he better have that love story in the movie. That was like one of the main parts.

Actually I am not really having a hard time with the wait. I am actually really surprised at how short of a time we have until ROTK, and how time is moving so quickly towards that December 17 date. To keep myself from dwelling on the time, I just keep thinking of all the exciting things to keep us busy (the tralier, the extended edition, the film books, Halloween, premiere night planning, the holidays, conventions, school), there is of course a part of me that wants to desprately see ROTK, but then there is another part of me that is going to be really sad to see all this excitement come to an end (Imagine how quiet the movie part of the B-D's is going to be). I just saw a ad for the tralier with Secondhand Lions on TV, that had a few new scenes, and that just makes me realize how short of a time we really have. I still think I need to be part of the support group though. But just remember this time is going to be gone before you know it, so appriciate it before it has disapeared forever

Yeah, the time has gone amazingly fast. There's been loads of distraction, like POTC and Ned Kelly comes out on Friday. So I suppose there is quite short a time left to wait. But still, it's like 3 months! THREE MONTHS!!! *Takes a deep breath*

09-24-2003, 09:41 AM

I really need some support now. I found out that RotK trailer is released next Monday and my Quick Time player's not working! There's some security thing that doesn't allow me to use QT.
Three months...maybe it's easier if one doesn't count the days. I just came up with an idea if I should go to watch RotK alone on the first time (I'm going to watch it 2-3 times in the theatre). I could cry my eyes off and my friends didn't have to be shamed because of me. Really, I'm serious. It would be cool!
Ahem. Is there by chance any cheesecake left?
[ September 25, 2003: Message edited by: dancing spawn of ungoliant ]

I desperately need this group!! At first I was worried that PJ would mess the plot up a lot (like the Galadhrim in Helm's Deep *grrr*), but I realized that there would be mass revolt on the Downs and PJ can't risk getting us angry because we're the biggest group of LotR fans (probably), so it's all good. (Wow, that was a long sentance!)
I brought fudge!! *helps self to cheese and popcorn and cheesecake*
I'm gonna see RotK with my friends for my birthday(I'll do that on the weekend and see it with my family on the 17th) even though it was Sept. 3rd- my party'll just be 3 months late. Before TTT came out I changed my screensaver every day so it said how many days were left untill it came out- I should do that now.

09-26-2003, 09:07 PM
I brought some more cheesecake and some Little Debbie snack cookies! But I think I like the looks of that fudge, personally...does it have any yucky nuts in it? We Knights of Gondor are very particular about no nuts. (And when we found out that our Steward was one...)
Anyway, here's a few spoilers from TheOneRing.net, in the words of a person who visited with the Hennahs.
**Spoiler alert!**
-----------
They brought a One Ring (I got to try it on!), and other items. Most I had seen, but among them was a diamond vase thing. I asked Dan what it was, and he took it and took of the top. As he pulled the top off, I saw that a inky rats tale with spikes was hanging off the lid.
He told me that it was Wormtounge’s poison jar, I asked when does he use that, and he said that he uses it to kill Theodred. I was surprised because I thought that that was really clever. It would make his character more evil. He went on to say that it wasn’t in the books, and I asked him if it would appear in the EE of the TT. He said most defiantly.
I then looked around, and on the wall was two pictures of the encampment seen in the DVD trailer and on previous posts. I asked if that is from the third film (obviously fishing for info), and Chris Hennah said yes, it was at Dunharrow.
It had an inside shot of the the Kings tent (Theoden), with skins and shields, and kingly stuff.
Another picture showed Arwyn looking very sick in a bed with Elrond at her side, re-enforcing the whole, sick of grieve theory.
In the actual question and Answer part of the afternoon, I asked Dan, what his favourite part in the trilogy was and he said he couldn’t give too much away, but he said when Farimir storms the Orcs out of Osgiliath onto the Pellenor Fields. He said it is quite an important part of the story. I can’t remember if it happened in the book.
Any way, it was an enjoyable morning, and he said that filming will finish in the next week. At the moment they are filming background battle shots and Mumukil etc.
So I hope I have some new news in there, oh and that Wormtounge vase thing, was really foul. I think my friend summed it up by saying “They really do a good job at making things look evil don't they!”

>he better have that love story in the movie. That was like one of the main parts.
Actually, I'm very worried that it'll be ruined, and so now I think I actually would rather it be left out. It's one of my absolute favorite parts of the book, and I don't see how they can make it work, with what they did to Faramir in TTT. Plus, how can they have that beautiful image of their 'raven and golden' hair if Faramir's hair is red?!?!?! All my friends tell me that I'm probably the most supremely angry person on earth about the color of Faramir's hair in the movie!
Anyway, I saw the trailer today and it looks AWESOME! It is SO worth the seven dollars just to see it, plus SL is a cute little film. Two of my major concerns are: 1. The Darkness in the Seige of Gondor doesn't look very dark. 2. I don't think that they're going to keep Dernhelm's identity a secret!!! But you have got to see it, preferably on the big screen because it is so good! The Stairs of Cirith Ungol look so cool, and my sister, who hasn't read the books, was immediately blown away by how impressive and beautiful Minas Tirith looks! Get thee to the cinema! Now!
Namarie,
Lomadia

And besides... if I do plan on dressing up it'd at least help to keep me sane until the premere, right?

Boy am I glad this thread got started! I'm in direr need of a support group here! I'm driving my family crazy with all the RotK talk! But I simply cannot wait! And wonders of all wonders it will be realesed pretty close to my birthday! Of I feel so special! I think I'll stock up on posters and such until it comes out. I've seen the preview like a thousand times! AHHH!!!!! *squirms in her chair impatiently* ARG! Time will not pass quickly enough! *Grabs her favorite dessert...CHEESECAKE!*

I saw the trailer! IT WAS AWESOME!!! I'm going to go to the premiere in either my white Arwen dress (last year's Halloween costume) or in the Eowyn dress I'm making for this year. My little brother (who looks a lot like Elijah Wood) will probably go as Frodo (if he doesn't, he had better watch out !) I must have some more cheesecake to keep myself going until then! *begins to munch*

Shelob was quite small though, or maybe it was just a part of it.
Thanks to Oddwen, who posted that link...now I can watch it in two different formats
I quess I'm not dressing up anything LotR related. What does 'Nevaer' mean?
I'm making a costume for my Textiles coursework, but I won't have finished it by the time it is released. Forget dressing up and being called a freak, I am called a freak for wearing the Ring. And it isn't like no one has heard of it (God forbid), because I asked my form when I did my speech (on guess what??), and only about 3 or 4 people hadn't seen it (out of 25). Before I start this note, please let me explain that I am not moaning (as this is only my second post!)
I've only managed to see the trailer on my laptop (26mb version), I went to see Ned Kelly (in England) and they didn't show the trailer! (stupid cinema)
The trailer is great, but I don't know if anyone noticed that hardly (if any) of the dialouge has been taken from Tolkien? I'm not technically a purist, but let's hope we have SOME quotes from the books!
I thought the 10 minute 'trailer' on the tt dvd was much better, as it showed the emotional side to the story, which, to be honest, is what ROTK is about. The fighting is to 'give frodo a chance'.
Saying all this, I must admit to being brought to tears at Sam's "Nooooooooo!!!!!!!" at the end. THAT was the most stunning piece.
PS Do you reckon Legolas is talking about the 'King' of the Dead at the start?

Yeah, ok. Just 3 and a half hours worth of tolkien dialouge then please!
PS re an ealier post on Shelob's size. To me, in a film, when I see a monster I am much more frightened when they are of a 'human' comparible size.
Think of the Jurassic park films. What frifhtens you more. A T-Rex or a Velociraptor?
What's the most frightening monster in movie history? I would say the one from Alien. She was a comparible size to Ripley.
My point is, if jackson makes Shelob TOO big, I don't think it will be that frightening. To see a 'smaller' spider move and chase Frodo through the tunnels seems to be much more terrifying.

Well, it sort of was, but I knew somehow exactly how it was going to be said, and who was going to say it.
In FotR, it was 'eight there are here, yet nine there were set out from Rivendell. Tell me, where is Gandalf? For I much desired to speak with him.' And in TTT it was 'cold be heart and hand and bone, and cold be travelers far from home. They do not see what lies ahead when sun has failed and moon is dead.' It was creepy, but also sort of cool.

I believe Legolas was talking about Sauron, because I'm assuming that Pippin was looking into the Palantir just then, and Legolas being the sharp-eyed, evil-sensitive Elf that he is, sensed that the Dark Lord was "in the camp." Perhaps what PJ's going to do is have Aragorn rush over to save Pippin from Sauron's mental clutches, and in the process, wrench the Palantir to his control. It seems rather dramatic enough.

*snork* Nice one, Knight.
I've got donuts! Let's see, there's... glazed, chocolate, cream-filled, cinnamon rolls and... raspberry fritters. Dig in! *starts munching on a fritter*
OMG, I can't wait for this movie to come out! I just watched the trailer for the zillionth time, as well as the trailer on the Towers DVD (more Pippin-like-goodness in that one. wheee!) and man, that looks so cool.
Oo, oo, I found out the coolest thing on Billy Boyd's website: Pippin might get a *solo* in RotK. According to an interview with John Noble (Denethor) there's a scene where Denethor is really cranky, and he asks Pip to sing (note: Billy wrote the song himself); by the end of the scene Denethor/John had tears pouring down his face, because the song was so good and Billy has such a good voice. Dude, I so hope that makes the theatrical version!
Abedithon le,
~*~Aranel~*~

What's this spoiler-book?? Sounds good!
I am looking forward to the Denethor parts.
I enjoy all Denethor spoilers.
Knight of Gondor
10-26-2003, 09:40 PM
I think the spoiler book would be the picture story book. Most of the images were probably the ones featured on TheOneRing.net not long ago, but it seemed like there would be some more than were shown, so I thought if someone actually got the story book itself, they might scan and submit those new pics. But it's a tricky thing...the story books really aren't good because they can't spoil things like Shelob and what happens after the unmaking of the Ring!
Aethelwine
10-27-2003, 01:47 AM
Dear Knight, your right. It is indeed that picture story book. Not all things are shown, neither what happens after the destroying of the ring. And indeed, again , not all pictures are up yet. The downside being that I can't scan anything, because my scanner can't connect with my computer... Not nice!
Sorry Esty, your right.
What I look foreward to? The entire movie! I feel sorry that the Scouring won't be in it, but then again, it will be more special every time I read about it in the books, because I can still (or have to) use my own imagination.
No, but what I really want to see, are Minas Tirith and the ride of the Rohirrim, to the aid of Gondor. That'll be awesome!
Navaer!
Aethelwine.

(Jammy dodgers are biscuits, with...wait for it...jam in the middle. Very yummy. You can't tell me you haven't heard of them??!!!!)
Hmm, I think the battle of the Pelennor Fields will be interesting. The story line will have to keep switching between the Rohirrim, Aragorn &co, and Pippin &co. Interesting, no?
Hang on, when abouts does that bit where Aragorn goes 'This day we fight!' happen? It can't be the Pelennor Fields, because the Rohirrim got there at the last minute. On the other hand, I can't imagine it will be the last battle either, but it must be that. And I suppose that rather despairing bit where all the soldiers from Gondor surrounding Minas Tirith come in, but always in too small numbers, will be left out. A shame that. The last battle, it seems, will be entirely between the Rohirrim and Gondor on one side, and the Dark side on the other.

How on earth will he get the unifrom otherwise?
It could always be a mistake from toybiz I suppose, as the rotk trailer shows the guys discussing tactics in the throne room(supposedly on the attack of the black gates), we see Aragorn in his old costume again......
(ps obviously jackson has aragorn enter the city to plan the next stage not only to go to the houses of the healing, instead of in his tent on the pellonor fields itself)

It must be the Pellenor fields, because at the very first shot you see of the soldiers in the preview, you can see Gondor and the massive hoards of Orcs attacking. Still, one must wonder where Aragorn gets the Gondorian duds...and why he is shown in the White City with his Ranger duds on beforehand, saying they can give Frodo a chance.

Ahhh...is this the whole thing about camping for days and queueing up in costume???
At my local cinemas you buy the tickets (You won't be able to buy them until a few days before, although I think you can book them for a small fee) and sit where you like...if you turn up early enough. I got there 15 minutes early last year, and it was like 3pm or something...(legged it from school), and only the front row was empty. I swear all those adults should have been at work! My neck really hurt afterwards...grrr
The_Hand
10-28-2003, 01:22 PM
I was as I said first in line so I could chose any seat I wanted... my sister and a friend were right behind me and we all picked the best seats in the house... THE FRONT ROW! At our cinema which has been reported being the best in Northern-Europe or something it's always best to sit in the front row! Although only we know it! Because then you can lean back (very good chairs that go way back) and it's like your sitting smack in the middle of the movie! We always sit there. When we buy ticket it's like: "oh it's YOU lot" but we don't care because our seat are never taken!!! and now I'm gonna watch the best movie ever in the best seat ever!!!

Unfortunately I do live here (Asia) And it will be shown January 2004 (really, really, really sucks! ). Because in my country there's this sort of filmfest for the whole month of December (our "Oscars" month), so all cinemas show just the local films. So all the films (which includes RotK) that came out December in the US gets pushed to January .
Maybe I should take away all the calendars in the house to make the wait easier ?

If I'm lucky, this year my parents will actually remember to buy tickets in advance. On the opening day of TTT, it sold out at nine in the morning! I wasn't very happy, especially since, all the theatres in town and anywhere nearby were sold out for a few days.

Here's some news from Ringbearer.org About Legolas' next stunt:

quote:
TORN posted this small spoiler quote from Orlando Bloom, who was the on 'So Graham Norton' last night ...
"Orlando was on 'So Graham Norton' tonight. He was mainly astonished at the information Graham gave him that there are now over a million web sites dedicated to him, but revealed the following about ROTK:
Bloom: "The fans loved me sliding down the stairs in the 2nd film, and Pete was looking for something which, basically was going to top all of that. And he said it to me, he was, like, alright son, wait for this one! And I went out for 3 days of reshoots and basically was just hanging on wires, and climbing up things and swinging around....so its gonna be quite an extravagant thing, because by the time they've cut me swinging on ropes and flying all over the place in with the special effects they do really well at Weta Digital, which is Peter's company, it'll be killer! I hope, I think. I'm sure."

Is he going to play SuperMan for a bit, like Gandalf played Zorro on the hill?
Thankfully (changing back to the original subject), I am allowed to go to RotK on the opening day (at the traditional time of around 4:00 pm) and I will, even if I have a test or two the next day, I'll risk not using my common sense. And I'll go in my flip-flops with my Frodo costume in the cold. That's the fun of it.
See you later!
~M
[ November 02, 2003: Message edited by: Morquesse ]

Okay it's bad enough that the movie comes out in January in my country. But I think what's worse is that I've been watching too many movies recently and NEVER seen the ROTK trailer YET. So I guess if it all makes you weep, I better start carrying a box of Kleenex if it caught me unawares ( I think my friends will disown me when I start sobbing, 'cuz when I saw Pirates I practically squealed most of the time and they stuffed me with their jackets to shut me up )
Going back to my misery, all I can do now is stand in front of a ROTK poster and probably drool.

I can't help it. I am unhealthily obsessed with RotK. I've seen the trailer about 100 times so far, constantly quote lines along with the actors, and act out scenes with my semi-LotR obsessed friend. Today, during lunch, we were acting out the scene where Gandalf races with his glowing staff to save Faramir, and I crashed into a laboratory table, and gave myself a nasty, purplish-black bruise all across my stomach.

Take the RotK trailer, and then mix it with like Rock music, and make sure to time it just right, so that when the song cresecndos (intensifies for percussion illiterates 8D) it gets to the part where the trailer intensifies. Take the song, "Pressing On" by "Relient K". I mixed it with the trailer of TTT, and when Saruman says, "There will be no dawn for men", the wallblows up. I timed it just right so exactly at them moment the singer sings, "I'm pressing ooooooooooon!" and then the song gets loud and crazy.
It's pretty fun. To mix the music and trailer, you just open up the trailer and Windows Media (or Winamp or Quicktime) and time them right.
Kind of nerdy, I know. But it held me over until the FotR came out and the TTT.

-The Dwarf in the Shadows

Er...right, Theoric.
I can't wait either...I saw the Matrix but it didn't have the trailer. But it did have the Troy trailer!!!!
I just keep myself happy with looking at pictures and checking TORN for updates.

Interesting idea, Theoric. I do that occasionally; like I'll be listening to something and suddenly think "Oh, that's perfect for this one scene!" and then I replay the scene in my head while listening. It's v. fun.
Only 35 days guys! And have you listened to the clips from the soundtrack? If you haven't (and you want to) go here now!!! So kewl!
Abedithon le,
~*~Aranel~*~

Awww Elfearz, you know we didn't mean it... . You just have to be kind of careful with what you say on a LORD OF THE RINGS FORUM!!!! Hmm...I was thinking, this probably is not the best forum that the person called Orlando's top fangirl could go...who says she is anyway??!!!
But yeah...I'm still totally confused about how on earth you play some rock song with the ROTK trailer. Is it really only 35 days to go????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*hands over one of her lighters and lights a marshmallow*
*wins the game, naturally*
I've bought the Rotk photo guide today. It should keep me going for at least a few more hours. The wait is agonising. Fortunately, with TTT:Ext. being out in 6 days, the Denethor footage in that should hold me back for at least another couple of days. After that, I shall have to kidnap John Noble and get him to show me the film early.

I just realized (after a second-degree burn and innumerable scrapes) that I'm such a bloody idiot!
Today, in our Principles of Engineering class, we got to demolish our much-hated simple-machine projects with whatever we wanted to. Me, being the blessed fool, decided to body-slam mine and then set it on fire. Needless to say, I learned that a little wheel-and-axle system that looks (and feels) like the spiked wheel in Orthanc isn't the best thing to jump on. (My poor abused stomach!)
Then I decided to pull a Denethor (because I'm really looking forward to seeing Denny) and set the thing on fire (it was made of wood so it burned easily) and quickly stuck my hands into the flames and pulled them out, trying to see how long I could keep them in without them burning. Needless to say, the teacher called one of my group members to tell them something, which, of course, distracted me. Thus, I have icky second degree and first degree burns on my hands, which HURT!!!!!
And folks, that is how much I'm looking forward to RotK. Yes, I am obsessed!

Hello! It's been awhile ...
Anyway, may have not seen the ROTK trailer, and I may have to wait 'til January to watch the movie, but I think the light of Eru finally shone on me 'cuz today I'm getting The Special Extended DVD of The Two Towers!!! HOoray!! I could kiss the delivery guy!

I've begun having dreams where I am being doused in a crate of tar and set alight. I think in one dream I was actually in the House of the Stewards at the time and surrounded by Gondorian soldiers.

*squeee*
On the 16th December I'm having a celebratory 'the-wait-is-over!' bonfire in my garden. I'll be cutting marshmallows into Denethor/Faramir shapes and acting out scenes.

Haha! If you see a tall, handsome, ghost of a Noldo floating around by the bonfire, holding what appears to be a Sun, it's just me.

I didn't know she'd choose such a name, though.
*gives Meela an award for best marshmallow Denethor*
Now, a contest for best marshmallow Faramir! Similar to Denethor's, but not burnt, just charred a little.

Only 34 more days!!! *squeeee*
quote:
Thus, I have icky second degree and first degree burns on my hands, which HURT!!!!!

Oww! I did something like that once, although I didn't get burned that badly. I, pyromaniac that I am, was messing about with a lit candle in one of those little glass holders. Well, my arm bumped against the glass and I got burned so badly that my skin peeled off where it hit the glass. It was really gross, but now all I have is a scar.
Those soundtrack clips are great!!(I'm listening to them now) I tried to download them earlier, but my computer got all messed up.
Whenever I get bored, I write Aragorn's speech from the trailer on my hand.

Oh well...
I have to babysit my cousins all weekend. That means no RotK music clips, because they don't have the internet! *sob* And I can't watch LotR either! *WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!*
Abedithon le,
~*~Aranel~*~

That's what I'm gonna do. Bring the books, *secretly* bring the EV of Fellowship and watch it at, like, midnight. But I'll miss being on the 'Downs! And I'll miss the lovely, lovely RotK music clips. *sniffle, whimper*
But it's okay. I've corrupted one of my cousins to LotR already (he's 7), so I might be able to survive. I have to! The Towers EV comes out next Tuesday! *squeeeeeeeeeeee!*
Abedithon le,
~*~Aranel~*~

Sapphy dear, you've been squeeing too much... not that that's a bad thing. Good luck with your cousins (personally I'd go nuts but you're already there so ).
EE TTT out Tuesday! Yes! Finally! Think they'll have the ROTK Trailer like they had the TTT trailer on EE FOTR?
I think people have finally given up on me, almost every thing i say turns to LOTR! Gah! I think my friends are about ready to set fire to me (no pun intended)

quote:
Whenever I get bored, I write Aragorn's speech from the trailer on my hand.

Good idea! I heard it was a scary movie...). How people change in 2 years. (but this is the girl who came and saw Sir Ian with me, and also went to a local Ringcon, maybe she was a closet fan the entire time?)
My friends are not as annoyed about me talking about LOTR as they were when Fellowship came out. I just talk about it seldomly now.
We are going to be going to the midnight showing with about 5 other people. That is why I can't wait because it is going to be so much fun
