This thread is dedicated to discussing the RotK track 'Ash and Smoke' found here: <A HREF="http://img-nex.theonering.net/sounds/rotk_Soundtrack_-_12.mp3" TARGET=_blank>Track 12</A>I think, what I have heard of it, is my favorite of the clips. It's powerful and haunting, and rather unnerving, but very beautiful. What do you think? Only two weeks and a day! That was my favourite, too, as well as the Fields of Pelennor and the Grey Havens. That vocal in the middle of Ash and Smoke is so...wonderful.

Yes I so agree with you, the vocals on the track really make it stand out and sends chills down my spine, that is what music is supposed to do, move you make you feel a certain emotion. Ah the glory and power of music.
