I regret to inform the general public that I may have to stand down from the helm of Mount Zoom. As some people are aware, health and school problems have already made me drop out of an RPG over in the Shire. I was hoping that things would be better by now, but so far there has been little improvement. And now I've missed the deadline for teh Mt Zoom Challenge, too. If things do not improve within the very near future, I'm afraid I shall have to give up my role as the Dark Lord and stick to the occasional Crazy Caption and nothing else.


Also- Glirdan, where are you, my copilot friend? I sent you a PM several weeks ago, and I still haven't heard from you.

I would just like to say that I am disappointed with the lack of participation in this game as of late. If you signed up to play, then play!!!:mad: The rest of us have been doing a fine job with getting our posts done on time and it really sucks that we did our work and the teams that didn't still get to be carried along. I suggest that if the others do not post again in the challenge they should be dropped from the race, just like they would be in RL.

So, I'm going to say that if you miss 4 challenges in a row, then you will be disqualified. Your vehicle will be de-wheeled (or de-winged in Minas Mor-go's case) and sent back to its original area. Although, not in that order. ;)

If you think you'll be too busy to continue, then we will find a new player to fill in.

Also, if Bag Endless-fuel wins the next three challenges, they'll win! :eek:

My apologies for our not-quite-so-spirited as usual entry for this challenge. It's a busy time for me, at least, and Spawn warned at the beginning that she'd be busy.

I guess when I signed up in April, I didn't expect things to run this long.

I would end the pit stop sooner, only I do not know when all the exams and that will be finished. My final exam in on 23rd of June, so after that I'm free to begin the game once again. Glirdan, when do you finish?

Well, as Driver of Minas Taxi, I say extend to us the punishment we deserve... Sure, it was a busy weekend... but rules is rules. If I stand for solid deadlines when they suit me, I stand by them when they don't.

All this has been a good learning experience. If MZC2 goes ahead, I think I'll advise its moderator to make it shorter, as in, make the players move further after each challenge. I think this game's main problem has been how slowly it is going.
We'll need a fixed time limit for each challenge, a maximum number of challenges and so be able to work out how long the game will take.

Zoom challenge, I found myself in the Emergency Room with pretty bad chest pain, getting x-rayed to see if I had yet another collapsed lung. I think I did; it's in the process of healing itself right now. (I hope.) But I'm not in the hospital now and I didn't need any surgery, so things should continue to go as planned.
