Tolkien Google logo petition

Tolkien Gateway (http://tolkiengateway.net) is hosting a petition to persuade Google (http://www.google.com) to showcase a J.R.R. Tolkien-themed logo on January 3rd, 2007 in honor of the Professor's birthday. Google has had numerous other artist and author themed logos and it only makes sense that Tolkien should be included in this list. Sorry Estelyn Telcontar, was debating on putting it here, should have gone with my gut, heh.

Maybe we can incorporate the downs somehow, make all the letters look like barrows or something.
