I just ran across this short film that I'd like to share with you. Frankly, I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for sharing the link, Hilde.

Very nice and suitably sad music and a very well-edited video. A great experience to live and feel through almost the whole Silmarillion in 5 minutes. I really liked it.

Yeah thanks for the link.

I didn't really like it that much. It seems to me like they have taken alot of drawings of the Noldor and mixed them together and then added some suthing music.

There was alto of drawings I had not seen before and I really enjoyed that part.

At first I thought the pics would be in chronological order, but they weren't. A big minus from that. Otherwise, I liked it. (But! Why, o why do they always make Maedhros look like a fairy?)

It is a nice idea, I thought. And I would love to see more along the same lines by other people. (*Not so subtle a hint, eh?*) It is interesting to me to see these things though another's eyes.

For myself, I think that the choice of music was excellent, but I do not generally picture elves how are depicted here. (Which is not to say I could give any firm description of the differences, other than these are quite a bit more ethereal.)

Yes, very good link.

I too must agree that I was disappointed that the pictures weren't in chonological order. And I must concur with Hilde that this was not how I pictured Elves. However, the music was absolutely perfect.
