That's my favourite too! Thorin's Majesty seems to be the Hobbit equivalent of the Disco King... though, when I think of it, someone else might be more suited for this title *coughThrandycough* - he just begs a disco ball! :D

Sorry, MCRmyGirl4ev, but I didn't check for threads from before AUJ came out because we'd have to see the movie first to make the memes. Your thread is called LotR Memes! (http://forum.barrowdowns.com/showthread.php?t=17959), so I assume it is about the first trilogy. This one is to explore new memes being made based on the new Hobbit movies.

For instance, an overwhelming number appear to be devoted to Thorin, so that suggests that AUJ appears to be making the dwarves very popular. Another way of saying this is AUJ is providing more fodder about dwarves than about hobbits. :D

They are also on different forums, as I thought this forum might allow for more discussion about the effect of the movies rather than just some good laughs over the memes.

Perhaps if the Mods think they are too similar they can merge the threads? :)

Having it be trilogy-only wasn't really my intention, but that's okay. This seems to be kicking off, so a merge might be possible. Even so, if it doesn't happen, it's not like I'm going to hold it against you or anything. This is funny, let's keep it that way!
