I wonder if it'd be beneficial for this site to have our own Discord channel.

I must confess ignorance of what "Discord" means in this context. Then again, I'm old and stuff. :rolleyes:

It's one big chatroom, which functions like forums, more or less. There is an option to create your own channel about a certain topic, or a channel for a forum.

I am certain that with a few off-color posts, we can create our own discord here.
