It's been in the air now for some time -- all the dust stirred up by disturbed barrows and turned earth. Now all of the work going on behind the scenes and the kind contributions of some of our members have borne fruit!

Simply go to the new board, enter in your login name exactly the same as you've been using it up to now on EZBoard, and then enter the password you've provided. IMPORTANT NOTE: Some of you provided passwords with spaces in them. You should enter your password without spaces when you log in. So, "the great underhillo" becomes "thegreatunderhillo".

I do have a complaint though. The "Rate User" option seems like it doesnt belong here. I would rather not spend my time Rating people. smilies/confused.gif

And also, the member #.. like I am 44. Why does that have to be there? I dont know about anyone else, but I dont care what member joined when.

Hello, hello! Nice work, and I love the glowing green sword at the top of the page...very smooth. smilies/smile.gif Excellent job, Barrow-Wight and Sgt. Skwerl!!! Kudos to you! I do so miss the fun of trying to close out all the little popups in a set amount of time, and then trying to beat that record...it's kind of sad without them, doesn't everyone agree?

This is my first time in the new forum, and I am impressed. I'm glad that all of the old pictures were kept (it makes the transition easier) But a couple questions, what do all those little symbols to the right of the post date mean (ex. the one with the person standing next to a house) (that one doesn't seem to be on mine) Also, is it possible to post without using one of the little symbols. (ex. the JRRT symbol on my post) One other thing, is there a way to see your post before it posts (like the "see preview" thing on the server that became evil (aka ezboard))

Nope. You have to choose one. Go on! It's fun!

Not yet. But post previews is at the top of our list of modifications. Look for that capablility again soon.

Hmmm.... too many smilies? How many did you have?? smilies/eek.gif And yeah, there is flooding protection set to 30 seconds so someone can't post senseless stuff over and over just to be a nuisance.

This discussion board - all topics and threads - was recently imported from EZBoard. At EZBoard there was a limit on the number of threads visible in a forum, and The Books got so large that we had to divide it into two separate forums. When we moved the discussion board away from EZBoard, the most efficient way was to keep the existing structure. But, we will likely move everything from Books II back into The Books soon so that we no longer have the artificial division that was required at EZBoard.

BW, sorry, but, the thing about holding the cursor over the icon doesn't work. If you could just point me to some help file that will tell me, that'll be good too. Also, to resay a question from above, is it possible to modify our sn. If possible, would I be able to make mine Eldar_14 (the "other" board (why say its name when I don't have to) wouldn't let me have an underscore ( _ ) in my name.)
