I just read The Hobbit this past summer and and now in the middle of The Two Towers. These books are great! I can't wait to read more and I greatly enjoy discussing them here with everyone. I especially like the quiz and quote sections!

I just went to the topic &quot;More New Members&quot; and saw that about a month ago (which is when I actually joined and asked a question about Tengwar) RKittle announced my arrival. I wasn't aware of this since I had been lingering at 25 Hobbits for quite some time, but now I am here. Thank you for welcoming me, and again, I look forward to future discussions.

P.S. My brother is now signed up and should be posting something soon. Our names are...somewhat similar...see if you can figure out which one he is.

That queen is one of my favorite heroes of JRRT's but since here everybody is well educated in Middle-Earth lore, I decided to change my nick lest i would be mistaken for a lady.

I fear that many registered members may be duplicates. But since I am sure it is a phenomenon that occurs at al EZboards, I can only compare the Downs against those. And 123 users (regardless of how many ar duplicates) is pretty good! We're doing great!

If you make a mistake in a post, instead of making another post with corrections, you can edit the mistakes out. If you look by your own posts you will see the words &quot;Reply&quot; and &quot;Edit&quot;. If you decide to edit you are brought to a page similar to what you would see if you decided to reply, except that your text is already filled in. All you need to do is change the offending part.
