Looking forward to seeing more. I've got to get a new pic of myself, one of these days. The one that's up is a year old (11 months, actually) and... Well, I just wish I had a more recent one. The only reason that one got taken was because my mom wanted to use up the film in the camera, so she could get her vacation pics of lizards and such developed. So I wasn't even prepared. smilies/rolleyes.gif Blah blah blah, yadda yadda, excuses, excuses.

Great Idea Yavanna. But For some reason Maika is a perfect camera dodger. A4 is standard printerpapersize. You konw, the ones you use to print stuff on.

What's that? *sigh* A printer is a device which prints the things on your screen. Yes, you can install htat on your computer. No it is not sofware. It's hardware. What's that? *sigh* hardware are devices that you have to buy seperate from your computer and software are programs you can install on your computer.

Helka, I'm 20 (becoming 21 in October) and I'm not flying the helicopter, I was just a passenger. The pic was taken last year. I was working freelance for a local newspaper and we had the possibility to fly with one of their (very old) helicopters. The photographer suddenly made some pics, including the one you see on Alk's page. It was really great, the pilot even flew over my grandparent's house so that the photographer could make some pics for them smilies/smile.gif

I honestly agree. I have been hit on over the Internet, and I know what to look out for. It really should depend on the merits of the individual, because even though I am 16, I certainly don't act like a 16-year-old. Even my parents say that I'm more mature than some 27-year-olds that they know and work with.

It actually is quite hard to track down a person, and actually end up raping/assaulting them if you are a pedophile. Most people realize what is going on after one or two sentences of talking with the person, if they even talk to them. All of the people that I know wouldn't talk to people who just randomly IM them or email them unless they know them personally.

Well, first I argree with what Balin, burra, Nilly, Finwe and the phantom said (though I really am shocked, P, and to think I danced with you at the party smilies/eek.gif ) But, my point was that the problems that are associated with chat rooms such as in the article Alk quoted, have to do with enticement. Pedophiles meet, talk dirty and/or seduce, then make private arrangements with minors. (So I've heard). So it still comes down to the minor's personal judgement (and the parents' attentiveness or lack thereof, in letting them out the door). On the other hand, there are brute rapists aplenty in the real world, I can't afford to be afraid to simply show my face there (and neither can minors.)

I can do a decent Brit accent, but like you said it's easy to get Cockney. I do a much better job right after watching a British movie.

On the other hand, I do an excellent German accent! I didn't learn a lot of German in the couple classes I took in high school, but I developed a great accent from talking to the exchange students a lot and just copying them.

Sometimes when I go out with my friends I use my accent at resturaunts and stuff because you get much better service if they think you're a tourist (because they want to impress you).
