[The Barrow-Wight]

We have a Chat-Wights page where some of our regular chatters have revealed themselves by showing us their picture. Now I think its time we had something similar here in the forum. Here's how to do it:

(1) Reply in this thread only.
(2) Add a link to a picture of you. DO NOT add your picture here. (I recommend having your picture be no larger than 800 pixels wide)
(3) I will periodically add the links to this first post so we'll have one large alphabetical listing of everyones pictures.

Gimli, you must upload your picture image to the internet. right now it is on your hard drive and only you can see it. I recommend taking advantage of Alkanoonion's generous offer.

Gimli's picture is actually on the net. It is his HTML code that is wrong.

In your html code, Gimli, you have the picture's location as "file:///E:/MyFiles/Graduation%20and%20After/Graduation%20Pictures/PICT0073.JPG"
so it will obviously show up to you since that's where the picture is on your hard drive. We, however, don't have it on our hard drive (if anyone does, probably not at that location). You've uploaded it to the web server you're using though, so go into the html code and change it to simply "PICT0073.JPG" and it will show up.

The strange reason is that you are using geocities. Geocities is the internet ghetto. You can still use geocities, but it is best if you put the picture onto a page. A good no nonsense example is:

I do stage make-up for myself and others... beards come up a lot. Actually, I never use markers on people's faces. eyebrow pencils work much better -- it washes out easier.

Correction: I never use markers for beards. I've drawn on lots of people's faces with markers smilies/smile.gif

Dearest Ith, the eyes are always the worst thing on pics. I usually look like I'm on drugs or I have them closed. I have a photo somewhere, in which my eyes have reflected the flash. Although, my hair isn't naturally like that (where it's long and curly and all)... it was teased quite a bit for those shots (they were promotional for my friends' show) - it looks more like in the black and white most of the time.

I think that everyone here is gorgeous! You guys are all awesome!!! This is the only place where I find people who have the same likes as me, and all... this is like a little online resort for me (well, that sounded a little dorky! Oh well smilies/smile.gif )

Thanks. Actually, this is one of the more "normal" of the Norwegian national costumes. There are some where the whole back is decorated with thousands of tiny beads, each one sewn on by hand.. Even one of my kind cost from $2000 and up, if you buy it new (I've inherited mine..) .

That's the most recent pic I have, taken back in June. It's a little blurry I guess but not really so it's still okay. I also have a pic taken at the same time of my dog licking my face but I thought you guys would rather see this one. ^^

Normally my hair isn't straight like it is in that pic though...I had just come back from having my hair done. I wanted it to be straight for a day to see how it would look. :/ Normally my hair's kinda wavy.
