Just wanted to say I feel sorry for the elf queen Galadriel and I hope they don't turn her into a character seemingly worse than Sauron again. Anyone else?

lol I don't think you have to worry about that one Aragorn the King, I don't even know if she is in the next movie or not, besides they have no reason what-so-ever to do that again! =D

Actually, I think she is going to be in TTT. I've seen at least one preview where she's in a dark place talking to someone saying "Frodo is gone (or something like that.) The quest will fail." No clue who she's talking to, but I just thought I'd point that out.

I do know that she is gonna be in it a little bit. Arwen is gonna be in it A LOT!! That kinda makes me mad...but whatever PJ wants I guess.

Maybe she gets Arwen round for a sleepover.

I read in the photo guide that Elrond and Arwen and other Elves from Rivendell go to Lothlorien to have some kind of Elvish council to decide whether or not to get involved with the struggles of Rohan and Gondor.<P>Anyway, I don't think Galadriel will be portrayed as nasty. In FotR you can see that once she "passes the test" she has a burden lifted from her and she's free to "just be Galadriel" again. It's evident in the gift giving scene, where she smiles and counsels Aragorn about Arwen in a motherly fashion. All the stressful foreboding "In place of a Dark Lord you would have a Queen" is past...she surmounted that temptation.<P>P.S. Aragorn_The_King, you called Galadriel an "elf queen". Tolkien states in Letter 210 that "She is not in fact one."<p>[ December 11, 2002: Message edited by: Diamond18 ]

What you see in the Photo Guide can be deceiving... not everything in there made the final cut.<BR>And also, <B>RosieGamgee</B>... Arwen is <I>not</I> in this movie a lot by far. She is hardly in it at all (I really don't know why her pic was so big on the poster). So, don't worry, you'll forget that you even saw her & her scene with Elrond is really nice.

Her picture is so big, because she is the biggest "star" of the cast. Meaning, the one who gets the biggest pay checks. And she is BEFORE VIGGO in the credit list! <BR>I have nothing against Liv, but that's just plain wrong.
