Which finger is the ring on?

In the movie, which finger does Frodo wear the Ring on?<BR>Is it always the same finger?<P>It's his left hand, right?<P>Thanks for your help!

Well when it gets bitten off, it is the middle finger of his hand, though I do not know which one. I read that bit only yesterday, but can't find it now.

In the movie....<P>Well, in Bree I'm pretty sure that it fell onto his right index finger. As for him actually putting it on, I'd have to watch the movie again (which is NOT a bad idea )

In the Prancing Pony scene it was his right index finger, but in the books it's presumably his middle finger, as that's the one missing in the Fields of Cormallen.<P>~*~Orual~*~
