i made a post about this a while ago, about what people thought it would be. i didnt think it'd be a bomb, i thought more of a cannon type of thing. what did you expect it to be, and did you like how it was in the movie ?

I liked the way they did it, although I had one issue when they showed Saruman pouring in the black gunpowder stuff. Did he use a bunch of those little bottles to fill that big bomb up? <BR>And also I don't think it was too smart to send the guy that was supposed to blow it up into battle with very little armor on. I mean, he had a pretty important job and he was running in there totally unprotected! Of course, despite being hit by Legolas twice he made it. By the Ring, what an explosion! Did you catch the guy that went spirialing a hundred feet up in the air?

I thought it was effective the way they played it , like so many things in the film.

The slow motion Olympic torch run was TOO MUCH for me, but the explsion was great.

Let's see, the only people who survive more than 1 arrow are:<P>Boromir<BR>The Olympic Orc Runner<BR>The "Winged Beast"<P>Everyone else is apparently a one-hit kill.

I actually imagined it exactly as they showed it in the movie. I always had the idea that it was some sort of gunpowder.

"The Olympic Orc Runner"<P>That's exactly what I thought. To those who think it was distasteful that a "suicide bomber" was depicted this way, I say nuts. Suicide bombers have been around since way before Kamikazi pilots. They seem to always have an Orc mentality that is timeless.
