While trying to find information on Shadowfax in TT, I stumbled across Sir Ian's web site (which is one of the nicest celebrity sites I've seen) and his diary of working on the film. It's facinating reading. He writes as well as he acts.
Anyway - enjoy! The Grey Book

He has now branched the Grey Book to The White Book on his site. His whole site is very nice to look at. Quite an inspiring man he is www.mckellen.com

And he has contest drawings, too. He apparently gave away two prop helmets in a earlier one.
Did you enter to try and win the pic, T.G.?

Yes I entered!!!! Don't think I have great odds, but it could happen... after winning my advanced screening contest I believe that maybe there isn't a little rain cloud over my head.
I entered his last contest as well... to win a Magneto Comic w/autograph. Didn't win that, but that's OK cause I have his autograph card from the movie.
That would be awesome to win something that was used in the movie, though. Rock on to whoever won those
[ December 22, 2002: Message edited by: Tigerlily Gamgee ]
