I apologise if there is already a thread mentioning this. I couldn't find anything on the search section.
Anyway, while looking at photos on the net, I discovered some pictures taken by Viggo Mortensen, which apparently are taken from his book, "Sign Language". They were taken during the making of the films, and included handwritten comments. The ones I saw were really interesting.
Has anyone else here seen the book? What do you think of it? Does anyone know where I can get it? (Having searched on several online bookstores with no luck so far )

Hey Elanor, that sounds interesting. What is the name of the book? And could you possibly tell me where you found the pictures online? I'd like to look into that.

Thanks, I'll try that. I tried Amazon UK and they didn't have it, so I'll try the US one next.
Eruwen: it's called "Sign Language" as far as I can tell. I found it mentioned here but you will need to hunt through the pages, it was pretty far down. Since then I have also found this link: here check under "Art Books".
Hasn't he got lovely handwriting?
[ January 24, 2003: Message edited by: Elanor ]

OMG, it was Viggo that took that beautiful picture of Elijah Wood? I've seen it on hundreds of sites, but I never knew it was him who took it. Wow...Thanks, Elanor.

The photos are good, his paintings I liked, but I'll say one thing, he cannot write poetry!

It is listed on Amazon... but it's waaaayyy expensize.
Here's what you want to do:
Search for it on Amazon. When it comes up, go down the page to where the customer reviews are. There is a review there that tells you the publisher's website, where you can get the book for a lot cheaper. That's how I got my copy.
Get it from the publisher, Smart Art Press.

Well then I have weird taste because I like it. He can write, paint, his photography is great, his acting is the best, but his music cds I don't like.
