I really like Theoden's line...
"Fell deed await, now for wrath, now for ruin, and the red dawn. Forth Eorlingas!"
And then Sam's speech...
Sam:"I know. It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here. But we are. It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened. But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn’t. Because they were holding on to something."
Frodo: "What are we holding on to Sam?"
Sam: "That there's some good in this world Mr.Frodo, and it's worth fighing for."
Soooooo good!!!!! I love these lines!!!
[ February 16, 2003: Message edited by: Firondoiel ]

I think there was already a thread on "favorite lines" but oh well... here are "some" of mine. All of them are from The Two Towers. I got these off TTT script.
Pippin:
Don't talk to it Merry. Don't encourage it.
Gollum:
We wants it, we needs it. Must have the Preciousss. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, filthsss!
Sméagol:
"No! No! Master!"
Gollum:
Yess. Preciousss first. They will cheat you, hurt you, lie!
Sméagol:
Master's my friend.
Gollum:
You don't have any friends. Nobody likes you.
Sméagol:
Not listening. Not listening.
Gollum:
You're a liar, and a thief.
Sméagol:
No.
Gollum:
Murderer!
Sméagol:
Go away.
Gollum:
Go away?! Ahahhaa!
Sméagol:
I hate you, I hate you.
Gollum:
Where would you be without me? Gollum. Gollum. I saved us. It was me. We survived because of me.
Sméagol:
Not anymore.
Gollum:
What did you say?
Sméagol:
Master looks after us now. We don't need you.
Gollum:
What?
Sméagol:
Leave now and never come back.
Gollum:
No!
Sméagol:
Leave now and never come back!
Gollum:
Ahh!
Sméagol:
LEAVE NOW AND NEVER COME BACK!
[Silence]
Sméagol:
We told him to go away! I'll have no pointy-ear outscoring me!
Legolas:
Nineteen!
"It's me. It's your Sam. Don't you know your Sam?"
Frodo:
I can't do this, Sam.
Sam:
I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. Frodo was really courageous, wasn't he, dad.'
'Yes, my boy, the most famousest of hobbits. And that's saying alot.'
Frodo:
'You left out one of the chief characters. Samwise the Brave. I want to hear more about Sam. Frodo wouldn't have got far without Sam.'
Sam:
Now Mr. Frodo, you shouldn't make fun. There are so many great lines in that film, I can't decide which one I like the best, but I would have to say one that is close to the top of my list is Sam's Speech, that just makes me smile, it is so wonderful.

"All I ask is for the strength to defend my people"- Boromir
Man! If I was Frodo, I would have given Boromir the ring, all because of this line. How the hell can anyone counter this argument?

I'd have to say Boromir in Lothlorien when he is talking to Aragorn about Minas Tirith. That entire speech is quite inspiring and, considering the future events concerning Boromir, extremely sad. It's brought a tear to my eye more than once and that's saying a lot, considering I hardly ever cry.
[ February 16, 2003: Message edited by: Rynoah, the Overly-Happy ]

Well, I would put it, but I think BethoHOG has pretty much covered every one of ours. But my favorite line is Sam's speech as well. It is the only scene in the movie which almost made me cry. I don't cry at movies, but I swear I was on the verge of letting a tear drop when Sam said, "That there's some good in this world, Mr Frodo, and it's worth fighting for."
Whoa, that makes me cringe every time I hear/see it.

My favorite line...hmm...there are so many! Personally I think Gandalf provided the most insightful quotes...and Gimli and Legolas provided the funniest ones
"Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them?"
or

Frodo:
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.
Gandalf:
So do all that come to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case you were also 'meant' to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

I don't think I have a faverite but, I really liked a lot of the new lines (new as in not in the book, those are all magnificent) in TTT (you've quoted a lot of them), more so than the ones in FOTR surprisingly since I disliked a lot of the changes in TTT more. The only ones I can think of in FOTR are "Where are we going?" and the bit about second breakfast.

I liked Gollum's first fight with himself. Also Sam's 'gardener' bit. But this is my all-time favorite!
Frodo: " It's a pity Bilbo didn't kill him when he had the chance!"
Gandalf: "Pity!? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death, & some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be to swift to deal out death & judgement. Even the very wise can not see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play, yet, for good or evil. Before this is over, the pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many."
Frodo: " I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had every happend!"
Gandalf: " So do all that live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is givin to you."
Awesome! Truly awesome. I also liked the part at the end when Frodo recalls the deciding part the Gandalf said ( although that falls more under favorite scenes than lines, oh well... ). That's my short list .
