You are happily shopping with your best friend, and then suddenly... you look right into the eyes of... Orlando Bloom... what would you do?
(Oh, could be that this is a repeat topic, sorry for that )

what would I do? Scream, shout, grab hold of him about the waist and never let go, thats what I'd do!
but seriously, I dont know. Engadge him in intelligent conversation? Get him to sign my forehead? I have actualy had an encounter like this when I saw santa shopping in the supermarket when I was four.

ive often wondered about this sort of thing. id probably attract his attention so he cant take his eyes off me (wishful thinking...) then act out a scene from shakespeare or whatever like a true actor and hope he whisks me off to try and get me signed up to star in his latest film.

I've wrote him once, Elijah, told him a lot of crazy things, but he never wrote back... so when I'd see him somewhere I'd say: "Hey Elijah, why didn't you wrote back!?"

Elijah Wood? Now thats different. And I'm not really that hooked on Orlando Bloom.

Um, if I was shopping with a friend, I'd probably have to drag that friend out of the shop before they embarrassed themselves (and me for that matter…) hideously. If I was on my own, I’d say hi….. and then I guess, well, I’m not sure actually. I’ll just wait for it to happen. Hopefully I’d have something intelligent to say, but I sure wouldn’t lose sleep over it. Actually, I don’t think I’d bother to talk to him now I think about it. It’s not really worth fighting through rabid fangirls to talk to him. Now if Christopher Lee (someone I admire immensely ) happened to turn up it would be a different story. I don’t think there’d be a fangirl problem , and I’d like to talk to him about pronunciation. I’m an odd kind of person really.

I'd probably be the embarrassing friend! I'd whisper "Thats Elijah Wood!" to her, and she would say "who?". I'd make sure I had my picture taken with him. It really depends on how many fan girls there where. In Manchester, there arnt really that many.

I'd probably say something like "Hey, aren't you Orlando Bloom? Wanna jump in one of those photo booths with me and get your picture taken with me?" Or else I'd ask him what it was like to be in such an epic trilogy.
Ah yes, I would love to think that I would be civilized, however I'm sure I would be very loud and annoying, like every other girl who's met him. I would hope that even though I would probably be loud, I would at least be witty since I usually don't get all flustered and not-knowing-what-to-say in situations like that.
Oh ya, and I'd ask him for the e-mail addresses of all the hobbits haha!

If it was Orlando Bloom, I'd make a note of it, but leave him be. After all, I'm sure he's already practically mobbed when he walks out the door.
If it was Elijah Wood, I'd do the same. I think I'd do the same for every actor in Hollywood. Well... maybe not every one....

I wouldn't notice Shagrat. My town is full of Orc-like people. In fact, as I once said, "If PJ runs out of Orcs, he only has to come down around here and he'll be surrounded by them." Yeah. In fact, Shagrat's probably around here somewhere, wondering what happened to the real Orc army

Orlando?
Go something like: "I know your face..wait, you´re Orlando!!! OMG, I just met a LotR actor! You know, you actually don´t look THAT crap without the wig..."
Elijah:
Take one look at the eyes, then run in the other direction screaming.
Viggo???
DON´T ASK! I have a complete scenario thought out on that one... it involves "fainting" in his arms and then having to be carried around... hold him and never let go...tape his voice... *swoon* *Sigh* *dream*
I guess you can see my preferances.....

If it were Elijah, I'd friek out. If it were Orlando, I'd friek out, and fervently wish for a change of appearance. Then I'd have dreams about him for the next year...or two...or three... and reproach myself for not saying something when I had the chance. :-( And then, when I get old, I'll remember it as an example of how stupid people my age can get. And tell my grandchildren about it.
If it were viggo, or any one of the others, I'd be polite, try not to friek out, and ask for an autograoh or something, but not rip it out of their hands. Well...if it were Shagrat...I'd say: "Hello sir! Are you lost, maybe? Wrong planet?"
[ February 26, 2003: Message edited by: GaladrieloftheOlden ]
