Hey guys, I was just wondering, you know when Gandalf is on top of Orthanc and then he jumps on the King of eagels back, ok well, notice he doesn't have his hat anymore cuz it fell off when he was fighting with Saruman. But when you see the fellowship leaving on their quest, he has it back. How did he get it back?? Did he go back to Saruman's place, knock on the door and be like, "Oh yea one more thing I forgot my hat, can I have it back please??" I mean, come on.

Ahhh, details... details...
He probably got a new one ~ then he went out and wore it out really quickly so that it would look just like his old one.
Actually, I have no idea, and I never really noticed before. Oh well. Sorry I'm so unhelpful

Maybe he conjured it up via magic or something?!? He IS a wizard...

But Saruman is also a wizard. So couldn't he just conjure it back?

Good thought. I never noticed. He probally found it or something. Or maybe he got it and hid it under his cloak or something.

No, I don't think he hid it under his cloak, he didn't have time too. Anyways, that would have been funny, "The battle of wizards" and then you see Saruman and Gandalf conjuring up the hat back and forth!! lol

Ah, the magic of cinema. Have a hat, don't have a hat, have a hat again.

Nah. Gwaihir always keeps a spare hat-and-staff set with him, just in case he has to save a stranded wizard.

Anytime you have a question like this, a wizard made it happen, okay?

Its magic. Don't dare to question the power of the magic or thee shall be smitten.
