Extended Version of the Trilogy

I've heard some rumors about there being an Extended Version of the Trilogy, due out in 2005. One thing I heard was that there was to be a blooper feature with it (something I've wanted to see for a while).<P>Has anyone here heard similar or additional rumors concerning the Trilogy EV?

An extended version? I have heard that there is a back-to-back version of all three movies out in 2005. But extended, I don't know.

I said already that there is supposedly going to be a blooper reel (which I have been hoping for since Fellowship came out). Whoa! I was scared for a minute before I read that quote. I would be so ticked off if I had to by another edition when I will have all three of the theatical and extended editions. I guess I could skip buying the theatical edition but I can't wait that long.
